So now my constant name researching and listing and pairing can kick into overdrive. I have a pretty long list, and my partner and I have divergent tastes. A good namesake, even if our connection was brief. I like your suggestion of [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], and [name_f]Marissa[/name_f] made me think of [name_f]Maris[/name_f] which led to [name_u]Damaris[/name_u], a sort of guilty pleasure of mine.

@ottertails, we are in the U.S., so I do worry about the Aunt [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] connection, as a previous poster mentioned. For what it’s worth, I’m in the US and love the name [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]! I don’t think of the syrup (I live in northern nh where REAL maple syrup is the only way though, so maybe that’s why haha)
