DH is pretty set on [name]Wolfgang[/name] if baby is a boy. So I am trying to come up with middle names that work with it. The only one I really like is [name]Wolfgang[/name] [name]Levi[/name]. [name]Reason[/name] being that we are almost sure that this will be our last and I like the “attached/connected” meaning since its sort of like a cirdle of our family is complete with the last member to make our family unit. I also like that it starts with a L to give DH and Vio some company, and, it is an Old Testament name like the boys as well so it fits my “needing to keep the theme going while naming a sixth child” criteria. Thankfully I have another half of the pregnancy to think of more, any other suggestions are welcome that fit the above criteria.
So what do you think? [name]Wolfgang[/name] [name]Levi[/name]? I know [name]Levi[/name] is moving up the charts, but it is a middle name. Also, while I am concerned about popularity to a degree, I am not afraid persay that [name]Levi[/name] is going to be top ten anytime soon.
It fits well with your other children. You have a Hebrew middle name, like the others, with your E & L trend. It would sharpen the divide between your boys and girls, if that matters. [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Bronwen[/name] are delicate and Celtic, whereas the boys feel very Germanic ([name]Linus[/name], [name]Felix[/name], [name]Wolfgang[/name] and [name]Sebastian[/name]-- all very Catholic and very Central European names).
i actually love [name]Wolfgang[/name] [name]Levi[/name], it flows very well together. I can’t think of any other names that go with [name]Wolfgang[/name]. Its very hard to match the name [name]Wolfgang[/name] with a middle name, and [name]Wolfgang[/name] [name]Levi[/name] sounds great. Good [name]Luck[/name]!
Yes, it must start with an E or a L. (I have written posts on here before on this topic, but [name]Andy[/name]'s mn starts with a L, mine with an E and we have since established that naming tradition with our kids on tops of a few other guidelines so they “match”.) Funny but there is a [name]Saint[/name] [name]Wolfgang[/name] (did a quick google search after you mentioned that, blade) and while we are not Catholic ( although that assumption has been made on more than one occasion) that is neat given the other boys have Saints names too.
