Well I’m due with baby #2 any minute and need some reassurance about my girls name, and boys for that matter! My sons name is [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] [name_m]Berk[/name_m] (with an I not an E) and we have a Scottish surname starting with Mc. We’ve chosen for a girl- [name_u]Seren[/name_u] Reve and a boy [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] or [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] Wilde. Hoping for some advice this time! With my first it was easy, I just knew it was perfect. I think I’m struggling because we didn’t find out the sex this time
Please let me know if these sound good to your ears as well!
You have nice choices! I love [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] Wilde and [name_u]Seren[/name_u]. I haven’t heard Reve before so is it pronounced [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] or Rev?
I like [name_u]Seren[/name_u] Reve, though same question as the poster above: is it pronounced [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] or Rev?
I’m honestly not a fan of [name_u]Seren[/name_u]. I think if the toxic gas. I love [name_u]Merritt[/name_u] and [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]!
Reve would be pronounced Rev, it’s the [name_m]French[/name_m] word for dream. It should actually be spelled rêve. The confusion around it makes me think I should rethink maybe. I do like [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u], which is her dad and uncles middle. Also liking [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f].
Wondering if you could tell me which chemical your referring to? I hadn’t made that association yet lol, which my mind constantly does on its own.
[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_u]Vale[/name_u] is awesome! Great name!
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] is interesting. Reve is pretty. Though I’d prefer the spelling [name_u]Reeve[/name_u] if you’re pronouncing it with a long E. As it is, it reminds me a tad of saran wrap.
Different spelling!
Wow, I really love [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_u]Vale[/name_u].
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] Reve is nice. Unusual (here in the US) but nice. I love the meaning. The name gives me a tranquil vibe, it’s so peaceful and ethereal.
I do like [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] as well, kind of a total opposite. [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] has a bubbly energy to me. So between [name_u]Seren[/name_u] Reve and [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f], I feel like that might be a situation where you take the names to the hospital and see which one fits. But I don’t know how realistic that is, me, I’d want the name pinned down. So it’s really just up to which name matches the energy you feel from your baby inside.
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] sounds fine and Reve sounds fine too I’m not sure if they’re meant to go together however. Perhaps [name_f]Lorna[/name_f] Reve or [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] might be worthwhile suggestions. Could be it all comes together in the end despite what i say.
I made a typo, it should have been [name_u]Seren[/name_u] [name_f]Lark[/name_f]! I’m in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] and have [name_m]French[/name_m] ancestry, so that’s one of the reasons I chose a [name_m]French[/name_m] middle.
[name_f]Glad[/name_f] I have some love for [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] [name_u]Vale[/name_u], it’s pretty fitting as we live by a lake in a valley lol!
I love [name_u]Seren[/name_u] and its meaning, I think I’m pretty set on it since it’s not too popular here, just needing to decide the middle.
Thank you for all your input, I really truely appreciate it ”
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] is beautiful and the meaning behind [name_u]Seren[/name_u] Reve is awesome. I like your boy names too
