Possible sister for Ronan?

So after much deliberation I am pretty certain that if I have a boy in the future he will be named [name]Ronan[/name] with the possible middle name o f [name]Gale[/name] (my maiden name.) I have a few ideas for [name]Ronan[/name]'s possible sister:
[name]Ada[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]
[name]Isolde[/name]
[name]Mary[/name]
What names do you think go nicely with [name]Ronan[/name]? I have a hard time finding Welsh, Irish or Gaelic names that are really my style.

Of your choices I like [name]Ada[/name] the best, and I think it sounds nice with [name]Ronan[/name]. I don’t think the origin is too much of an issue, as [name]Ronan[/name] is used fairly widely now. If that really does concern you, have you considered [name]Ailsa[/name] (sorry, not sure of spelling, but am pretty sure it has a Celtic origin and is similar to [name]Ada[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]). [name]Alice[/name] is also lovely and sounds good with [name]Ronan[/name], though I prefer [name]Ada[/name]. [name]Mary[/name] could work but again, I don’t think it’s as nice a pairing. [name]Isolde[/name], though pretty, is too stylistically different imo. Something else you may want to think about is using [name]Roman[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] or even [name]Ryan[/name] instead of [name]Ronan[/name] so that you don’t have quite as strong a Celtic feel.

But lovely name choices all - hope these suggestions helped!

So sorry I posted twice, can’t deal with technology! Also thought of [name]Ailis[/name], Irish form of [name]Alice[/name], said slightly differently. And love the above suggestion of [name]Carys[/name]!

I vote for [name]Ronan[/name] and [name]Mary[/name]!
