[name_m]Hi[/name_m], my cousin and his girlfriend are expecting their first child together. They are so far set on the Name [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] since they’re having a boy however, I was hoping to use the name when I finally have a baby boy but, due to this I now may no longer be able to do so if this is the case.
What’s everyone’s thoughts on this? Also, what are some similar names to [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]?
Hmm it might depend on how close you are to your cousin and if it would bother them if you used the name too.

This happened to my parents! They wanted to name their son [name_m]Jacob[/name_m], but my aunt & uncle had a boy first and used it. Since we were a very close family, mom and dad had to pick something else. They were considering [name_m]Richard[/name_m], but ended up choosing [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
Is it [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] that you like? Or [name_m]Jake[/name_m]? I think knowing this would help with suggestions.
