Ppp?

Is it totally ridiculous to have a name where the initials are PPP?

I think so and it kind of makes me sad haha.
I was initially against P-names with our P surname. But I really like the name [name]Phoebe[/name] and it doesnt quite count as a P name because it starts with an F sound. But we are pretty set on using [name]Pearl[/name] as a middle to honor family. It kind of makes me think I need to take [name]Phoebe[/name] off the list. [name]How[/name] much do initials matter?

PPP…isn’t as bad as A.S.S for initials. Overall I don’t think it matters cause not many people will ever even know the middle name. However, kids these days will see just P.P (first and last name) and might tease them because it sounds like Pee-Pee. So I think because of that you might want to possibly change the name.

I think it would be ok since [name]Phoebe[/name] starts with a different sound. There is nothing wrong with PPP initials. KKK I would avoid (LOL).

I don’t think PPP is a problem. My grandmother was GGG until she married. I think initials are only and issue if they spell something inappropriate or would cause teasing. I knew a poor girl in school whose initials were ASS.

I wouldn’t worry about the initials sounding like pee-pee… that might be funny to five year olds and that’s about it. Kids that young probably wouldn’t even notice it.

Yeah, I initially was really against the P.P. thing for teasing, but then I thought about that I’ve known people with P.P initials and never even really thought about it. But maybe that’s because I wasn’t 5 at the time haha.

Funny about the KKK initials, before I got married my initials were KK (middle initial R) and you wouldn’t believe how many people would ask me “What’s your middle name? Oh ok well I was wondering if it was [name]Kristen[/name] and then your initials would be KKK!”

I think PPP is cute, actually. She might even think it’s fun to have such an alliterative name! Besides, the "P"s in [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] are different sounds. Something like [name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] [name]Peterson[/name], for example, would be fine, I think.

Hmm, well this is encouraging. Maybe its not as weird as I thought. I may put [name]Phoebe[/name] back on the list.
