Recently saw this used as a name here in the forums, and it’s really grown on me as a middle! I like the idea of a more “traditional” first name with a more fun/unexpected or “word name” middle.
What first names would you pair with the middle name [name_f]Praise[/name_f]? For reference, my style is sort of vintage with a twist (like [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], Georgia) and a tinge toward cool and sleek (like [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] and Maren).
Right now, I don’t have a single girl name that I feel totally set on. Our top boy contender is [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], and we also like [name_m]Cormac[/name_m], [name_m]Ames[/name_m], and [name_u]Miles[/name_u].
So, what would you call a little girl with the middle name [name_f]Praise[/name_f]?
I love this as a middle, and have for years. [name_f]My[/name_f] high school science teacher had a baby and used this name as a middle for it more than a decade ago and I’ve always loved it. I’ve even contemplated using it myself over the years
I personally have it mainly on my boys list, but it definitely works for a girl too. I think it works well with all of the names you listed, and as a single syllable word name with a unique ending sound it could really go with any name in front.
I actually think [name_f]Praise[/name_f] is such a cool quirky word name so unexpected and definitely works as a fun middle name.
From your list I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Praise[/name_f] absolutely love the alliteration of this choice. Another one I adore is [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Praise[/name_f]. Never really been a fan of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and would prefer more traditionally female names with [name_f]Praise[/name_f].
You’ve had a lot of suggestions so please count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
I just wanted to add for your boys I love [name_u]Maxwell[/name_u], [name_m]Cormac[/name_m] & [name_u]Miles[/name_u] but wanted to put forward the suggestion of [name_m]Abel[/name_m] & [name_m]Solomon[/name_m].
