I’m super confused by this thread. The question (and kids’ names) sounded familiar so I checked to see if I’d already read/replied to similar thread and found a lot of screwy info…
In this post, parents are [name]Greg[/name] & [name]Julia[/name] Holloway, boys are [name]Leo[/name], [name]Asher[/name], and [name]Simon[/name], and new baby is a girl.
In another thread, parents are EllaJune & [name]Omar[/name] Isaacs [name]Thorpe[/name], triplet girls are [name]Ayelet[/name], [name]Bellamy[/name], and [name]Carys[/name], and new baby is a boy.
In another thread, parents have the surname of [name]Carlos[/name], kids are [name]Clayton[/name] and [name]Chloe[/name], and new baby’s gender is unknown.
In yet another thread, parents are [name]Deborah[/name] and [name]Michael[/name], son is [name]Samuel[/name], and new baby is a girl.
[name]One[/name] more thread has this same OP (kalin123) as nowhere near having kids.
Then there was a thread started about how to pronounce [name]Rowan[/name], which I just saw on Swistle’s blog. So now I’m thinking these questions sound familiar because maybe they’ve all been on her site (or another?), or maybe the OP (kalin123) is Swistle in disguise, or perhaps just a bored little troll, or I’m completely off my rocker.
Obviously, anyone has the right to come here and ask for naming advice, whether for an expectant child, a literary character, for a friend, just for fun, etc. But why not be up front in your posts? There are plenty of posts from people who aren’t planning children anytime soon and say so. Nothing wrong with that, and no need to pretend you’re something you’re not if you just enjoy the pleasure of talking about names!
