When we were trying to conceive I became obsessed with names but now that I’m actually pregnant, I’m feeling pretty uninspired. I used to love the names [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] until I decided that they didn’t work so well with our surname which sounds similar to “[name_f]Sun[/name_f]” or “Sohn.” I’ve also decided that three syllable names might sound better with a one syllable surname. At the same time, I like the simplicity of names that don’t need nicknames. I feel like I’ve thought about names and their popularity so much that I don’t know what I like anymore.
I would love to get your thoughts and ideas.
Currently on my list:
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] (Dec. due date)
I absolutely adore [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (they would make great siblings too). I also like [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is ok but I much prefer it with the nn [name_f]Maggie[/name_f], obviously that doesn’t fit your criteria.
I could be way off but I hope these suggestions help. From your criteria and names you’re already considering, my main suggestions would be [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_f]Octavia[/name_f], [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m], [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] and [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].
I like [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u].
And I feel for you! Congratulations on your pregnancy. I’m sure the bigger you get, the more scans you have, the more movement you feel… the more real this feels… you’ll get that zest back. Best of luck!
