[name_m]Just[/name_m] a thought could you use [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
Or [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] as a double first name?
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] & [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] have beautiful names so I’m sure you’ll do great naming these twins too!
I noticed a lot of posters suggested [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], and while it’s a beautiful name, I think it’s too close to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], since both could have the nn [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. Instead, I would suggest something like [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f], [name_f]Helene[/name_f], [name_f]Adele[/name_f], or [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. But with the MN [name_f]Joy[/name_f], I think [name_f]Helena[/name_f] would be my choice - [name_f]Helena[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. So pretty!
For boys, you could really go with anything - a classic, a french name, something more popular, something trendy. Whatever you like! I really like the MN [name_u]Reece[/name_u], so let’s start there.
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Reece[/name_u]
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_u]Reece[/name_u]
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] [name_u]Reece[/name_u]
Sorry, I’m not as good with boys names.
These are the [name_m]French[/name_m] names I found on behindthenames.com. Of course you could change the [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling to the more well known spellings. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps!
First I just have to say I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]!
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] both have the EE sound near the end, so maybe, if you wanted to keep that, [name_f]Abree[/name_f] for a first name? I think ‘[name_f]Abree[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]’ sounds nice! There’s also [name_f]Marie[/name_f], and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], which kind of stick to the [name_m]French[/name_m] theme.
For the boy: I’ve never been that good at boys’ names, but here are some that might match with [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: [name_m]Phillip[/name_m], [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], and [name_m]Edmund[/name_m]! I think ‘[name_m]Edmund[/name_m] [name_u]Reece[/name_u]’ is a good combo!
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] was the first name that came to mind to go with your girls. I think it’s beautiful! [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is great too!
We have decided to go with our original name that my husband loved, [name_m]Reece[/name_m] [name_u]Charles[/name_u]… he had no idea what to name any of our girls, so I might as well let him name our boy!! It’s growing on me. Now for our girl, we are definitely still going with [name_f]Joy[/name_f] as the middle name. Our list is shrinking!!
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (love, but so popular)
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (flows the best)
[name_f]Novalie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (love the uniqueness)
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] (princess)
Lorelei Joy (Hubby’s input)
My two favorites out of your girls list: [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] and [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]; although, [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] probably fits the theme the best.
Here’s a link to behindthename that has stats for top names in [name_f]France[/name_f] in 2010 (Popular Names in France 2010 - Behind the Name). Some of the girl names I thought would mesh well with your sibset:
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Noemie[/name_f]/[name_f]Noemi[/name_f]/[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Ideas that weren’t on that list:
[name_f]Romilly[/name_f]
[name_f]Marjorie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Reverie[/name_f]
I know you have already decided on a boy’s name, but I thought of another way to use [name_m]Charles[/name_m] that you might like. I’m suggesting [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f], and you could call her [name_u]Charlie[/name_u]. This would incorporate [name_m]Charles[/name_m], but you could find another name for your son that you like better. Unless, of course, you’ve already decided that his name will for sure be [name_u]Reece[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m], in which case I definitely prefer [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] sound REALLY good together
[name_f]Emmaline[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] and [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. [name_u]Reese[/name_u] just sounds better in the middle and it’s clear you both like [name_m]Charles[/name_m].
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] is nice too.
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Lorraine[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] such great names love them.
[name_u]Reece[/name_u] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] or [name_m]Charles[/name_m] [name_u]Reece[/name_u] depends on what name you choose for your daughter.
For the girl i love [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], it’s a great match for [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]. For the boy i’d go with [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], one of my ultimate favourite boy name
