Preppy Boy Name Ideas: What would you name your preppy little boy?

I want to create a usable list of preppy boy names that are original and fresh sounding. I want names that are out of the top 100 & that could be heard in the halls of a preparatory school. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have any ideas?

So far on my list I have:

I need many more name suggestions…

Also, if you could choose one name that you love the most out of the ones you suggested that you would name your preppy son if you had him tomorrow.

As for myself, the name that immediately came to my mind when I read this post was [name_u]Keats[/name_u] - I think it sounds preppy, plus has the poet reference! [name_f]Love[/name_f] it! [name_u]Bright[/name_u] star, would I were stedfast as thou art…

I find a lot of surname names go down-market rather quickly, or just sound really country, or are too trendy to work for the image anymore. Call it the [name_u]Addison[/name_u] Effect. Anyway, they preserve the yachting flavour best if they’re actually family names. My family names don’t work at all, lol.

[name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] had the image at one time (think The [name_f]Nanny[/name_f]…) but it’s sorta gone too popular? I still kinda like it.

My son’s name is [name_m]Sheppard[/name_m]. A bit preppy, I think. I also like [name_m]Davis[/name_m], [name_m]Anson[/name_m], [name_m]Carlton[/name_m], [name_m]Trevyn[/name_m], [name_m]Donovan[/name_m], and [name_m]Troy[/name_m].

Along these lines, I ran across http://www.insidelacrosse.com/news/2012/12/11/2013-face-yearbook-all-name-team-powered-flow-society. They pick the best prepster names from the nation’s lacrosse teams and designate “All-Name” teams (a spin-off of the All-American designation). Pretty funny.

I love the name [name_u]Percy[/name_u] but everyone always tells me it is too preppy. So that would be my Preppy Boy Name.
