Are these names too pretentious to use?

I don’t think any of them are too pretentious to use, although ‘pretentious’ names generally don’t bother me. A few might be more uppercrust, but definitely usable. I really like [name_f]Viola[/name_f] (as vee-oh-luh), [name_f]Violetta[/name_f], [name_f]Zenia[/name_f], Llewyn, [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u], and [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]!
The only one that seems like it might be borderline pretentious is [name_u]Winslow[/name_u]. I do love the name, though, and I don’t think that should stop you from using it!
I don’t mind pretentious names, but that being said, none of these names seem pretentious to me. The only ones that are borderline pretentious are [name_u]Winslow[/name_u] and [name_m]Eames[/name_m], I think.
None of these are in the slightest pretentious to me. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Willem[/name_m] and [name_f]Leona[/name_f] “[name_m]Leo[/name_m]” especially!
I don’t think they are too pretentious. My husband might disagree in [name_m]Monty[/name_m] as he’s made me abandon it in the form of [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m] nn [name_m]Monty[/name_m] (from With Honors).
[name_m]Willem[/name_m] and [name_m]Eames[/name_m] feels the most pretentious, but not a super duper amount. Honestly, I might roll my eyes if I met a little boy named [name_m]Willem[/name_m] instead of [name_m]William[/name_m]. It’s like [name_m]Henri[/name_m] pronounced the [name_m]French[/name_m] way if you aren’t the least bit [name_m]French[/name_m].
But really, no, these names aren’t too pretentious to use. I love, love, love [name_f]Leona[/name_f].

All of these are usable.
None of them are too pretentious. Some of them might be unusual/a bit stuffy sounding but don’t let that stop you.

I especially like [name_f]Violetta[/name_f], [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u], [name_m]Monty[/name_m], [name_m]Willem[/name_m], and [name_f]Winona[/name_f]. I also like Llewyn (though I slightly prefer [name_m]Llewellyn[/name_m] nn [name_m]Wells[/name_m]!)
Some of these names could sound pretentious in certain settings, but I don’t think any of them are in and of themselves pretentious.
None of these are pretentious. [name_m]Belvedere[/name_m] [name_m]Montague[/name_m] III is pretentious!
