[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! What are your top picks for an pretty elegant or pretty nature name? Our last name is [name_m]Roberts[/name_m]. We have a three year old boy named [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] and we want the names to sound good together just not super matchy.
Some name we think we like:
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] or Rosaliegh
[name_f]Madelyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u]
I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] & [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]. I think my favourite would be [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] I think stylistically the work despite sounding different. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] sounds beautiful such a lovely rose names
[name_m]Count[/name_m] any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] (I also like Rosella), [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] are beautiful. I really love [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] with your surname. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] came to mind, I see it’s already been mentioned. Also, [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
I really love [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]! I think it matches the criteria of being pretty , elegant and is tied to nature . It flows well with your last name and could make a cute pair with big brother [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] , yet has different sounds so they aren’t too matchy. [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] is my favourite! [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] has grown dramatically in popularity though ! In 2000 it just made the top 1000 but hast forward to now it’s number 31 in the US
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is elegant! It is rich in literature . And I think fits so well in all stages of life . It’s easy to spell, pronounce and recognizable , but not overly popular It was ranked #306 on the SSA in 2020. [name_f]My[/name_f] hesitation is that it sounds similar to the actress [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_m]Roberts[/name_m] ( who is Phenomenal)
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_m]Roberts[/name_m] is a DREAM!! I love alliteration! Although I think it is stylistically different than [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] it isn’t jarring and I love all the nicknames [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] has . I think it’s elegant and tied to nature and I love all the nickname possibilities, [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] , [name_u]Allie[/name_u] , [name_f]Sally[/name_f] , Ro/Roe , [name_u]Lee[/name_u] etc.
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] are sweet. [name_f]My[/name_f] hesitation with these names are the numerous variations of spellings and mispronunciation . [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] is SSA ranked as 100 , [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] is 66
Some suggestions
Shay/ Shae/ [name_u]Shea[/name_u] - ranked 928 in 2020 Shae/ [name_u]Shay[/name_u] is a name that is tied to nature - it’s pretty but under used in my opinion. It also means full of majesty so has a royal elegance tied to it . I think it flows well with your last name and as a sibling to [name_u]Hudson[/name_u] . It’s short , sweet and a little spunky so I think it’s a perfect fit !
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f] - I like [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] for you as it is tied to the flower , but also share the LIN sound like [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] . All of the names you suggest have a strong L sound. It’s also not in the top 1000 so it’s not extremely popular. I love [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] [name_m]Roberts[/name_m] and think that it sounds extremely romantic
Oakley/ Oakland/Oaklynn - while I wouldn’t classify this name as elegant persay I would definitely think it has some strong ties to nature ! It’s also rising in popularity!
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous! I love [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] too!!
