juliana paige: I love [name]Julia[/name], and while I do like [name]Juliana[/name], I prefer the simple and elegant [name]Julia[/name]. [name]Paige[/name] is too modern with with the classic [name]Juliana[/name], though. ([name]Juliana[/name] isn’t too popular. [name]Julia[/name] is more popular, but they’re so lovely.)
emilia belle: [name]Emma[/name] is ranked number three, but [name]Amelia[/name] is lovely! [name]Emmeline[/name] is great, too!
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] is my favorite combo, but any of the above go beautifully, too!
juliette kate: [name]Juliet[/name] is one of my all-time favorites! The [name]Kate[/name] middle is kind of choppy with [name]Juliet[/name], though.
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] (see list above…)
From your list, I’d go with [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Julia[/name].
I love your names (they’re stunning, not boring!), and you’ll find that the majority of Nameberry posters will, too! (Big classic name fans here!) Best wishes!
Not boring at all- these are beautiful names!! I love them all but my favorite is [name]Juliana[/name] [name]Paige[/name] - what a pretty, classy name. I like [name]Paige[/name] as a middle name because it is so cheerful sounding.
I actually love [name]Juliana[/name] [name]Page[/name], [name]Julia[/name] [name]Page[/name]. But I don’t like [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Page[/name] as much.
Below is [name]Jill[/name]'s list:
[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] - this is so gorgeous! [name]Love[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] even more than [name]Page[/name]. I like [name]Paige[/name] more than [name]Page[/name]
[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name] [name]Kate[/name] - love this, too, but not as much as the [name]Blythe[/name] combo.
[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] - I think [name]Grace[/name] is really getting overdone.
[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name] [name]Mae[/name]
[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name] [name]Rose[/name] - overdone
[name]Juliana[/name]/[name]Julia[/name] [name]Tess[/name]
Yeah, my fave combo is with [name]Blythe[/name]. Well done, [name]Jill[/name]!
love [name]Amelia[/name] with [name]Blythe[/name], too!
juliette kate: [name]Juliet[/name] is one of my all-time favorites! The [name]Kate[/name] middle is kind of choppy with [name]Juliet[/name], though. - I agree!
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Claire[/name] - this is very pretty, too!
[name]Juliet[/name] (see list above…)
From your list, I’d go with [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Julia[/name]. - Me, too!
I love your names (they’re stunning, not boring!), and you’ll find that the majority of Nameberry posters will, too! (Big classic name fans here!) Best wishes![/quote]
I like [name]Juliana[/name] best from your list and agree that [name]Jill[/name]'s suggested [name]Juliana[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] is gorgeous!
[name]Emilia[/name] just blends into the thousands of Emilys already around and [name]Julienne[/name] reminds of vegtables! (uncapitalise it and julienne is a way to cut veggies!)
Some other suggestions for a one syllable middle for [name]Juliana[/name]:
I think the names you have chosen are beautiful- far from boring!
I was just wondering- is [name]Juliana[/name] pronounced [name]Julie[/name]-[name]Anna[/name], or [name]Julie[/name]-[name]AH[/name]-na? I hope my phonetic spelling made sense. I love [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Julia[/name], but I like your idea of [name]Juliana[/name] (however it is pronounced!).
thank you for all the nice responses! i like many of the middle names mentioned so we’re back to the decision board with my hubby. i agree that [name]Emilia[/name] tends to blend in with all the Emilys ot there, so we’re leaning towards [name]Julia[/name] [name]Juliana[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name].
as far as the pronunciation of [name]Juliana[/name], i was hoping people will pronounce it [name]Julie[/name]-[name]AH[/name]-na, especially since there is only one N, but i guess it may not happen this way.
i thought of some other middle names for [name]Juliet[/name] ([name]Kate[/name] is a bit choppy, you are right!):
[name]Hi[/name] [name]Kate[/name]. (I love your name!)
I pronounce it Joo-lee-ann-uh, not Joo-lee-ah-nuh, but I, and others, could always be corrected. If the pronunciation thing bothers you, though, I’d go with [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Julia[/name].
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Darcy[/name]: This is just okay for me. [name]Darcy[/name]'s masculinity robs something from [name]Juliet[/name]'s feminity for me, but it just may be me.
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]: [name]Celeste[/name] goes with [name]Julia[/name], but for me, it doesn’t work with [name]Juliet[/name] due to the repetitive “eh” sounds in [name]Juliet[/name] and [name]Celeste[/name].
[name]Juliet[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]: [name]Leigh[/name] is really dated.
Of your choices, I’d go with [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Darcy[/name] due to the flow.
I see that you’re open to middle names with two (maybe three?) syllables:
I find [name]Juliana[/name] to be gorgeous. I prefer her to [name]Julia[/name] because of popularity issues; [name]Juliana[/name] has more character for me. I’ve heard her pronounced both Ju-li-AN-a and Ju-li-[name]AH[/name]-na, and I think they are both acceptable. I personally prefer the latter pronunciation. [name]Juliana[/name] [name]Blythe[/name] enchants me, I’d go with her (even though [name]Blythe[/name] isn’t one of my favorites). I know a [name]Juliana[/name] whom we used to call Juju when she was a tot. Isn’t that nickname adorable? [name]Juliet[/name] is “eh” to me, I much prefer [name]Juliana[/name]. The [name]Shakespeare[/name] character rather deters me from the name, as she was a rather silly girl. I’d rather pick the name of one of his stronger characters, like [name]Emilia[/name] or [name]Rosalind[/name]. I do like [name]Emilia[/name] quite a lot, but I think her name would be spelled [name]Amelia[/name] more often than not, which would be annoying for her.
I have a three year old [name]Julia[/name] and the pronounciation is a bit tricky. Lots of people say Jool-ya which I don’t care for. My husband and I say Joo-lee-a. When we picked the name I never would have thought it would be an issue but I think Jool-ya is easier to say. She goes by Juju most of the time anyway. [name]Hope[/name] this is helpful.
I love [name_f]Juliana[/name_f]! Better than [name_f]Julia[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] in my opinion. But of the 3 listed [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] gets my vote. It flows nicely and sounds beautiful. I love the names. Not at all boring.
Your names are not boring at all, hon!! I love [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. So cute! (although, I would go for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], personally)
I don’t think you can really go wrong. My favorite of the ones you’ve listed is [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. I tend to like [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] and [name_f]Julia[/name_f] better than Juiliana, just personal preference.
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is pretty as well. I would spell it [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], just because that is what I am used to.
