My husband’s name is [name]Jonathan[/name] & my name is Gwenelle & [name]Jonelle[/name] is the perfect combination. But how would YOU pronounce [name]Jonelle[/name]?
I would say “[name]Joe[/name]-[name]Nell[/name]” but I could see “[name]John[/name]-[name]Elle[/name]” or “[name]Janelle[/name]” too.
jon-[name]EL[/name]. Like [name]John[/name] (or [name]Jon[/name]) with “elle” on the end and the emphasis on the second syllable.
When I first saw it, I pronounced it like [name]Janelle[/name], I just assumed you changed one letter. I think that unless they know the story behind the name, most people will do the same
I saw it as [name]Joe[/name]-[name]NELL[/name]
Ok, Thanks!
