Pronounce Kirste?

I’ve been pronouncing it almost like cursed, somewhere between that and Keerst. I’m not sure if the E at the end is pronounced, making it [name_f]Kirsta[/name_f],or if leaving it off is correct as well. Thoughts?

Never heard of it, but I want to say SHEER-stuh.

KEErst - Like “[name_f]Kirsten[/name_f]” without the E

I would pronounce it like [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f]. [name_m]Keer[/name_m]-stee

It looks Germanic, so I would assume the “e” on the end is pronounced (like [name_f]Bettine[/name_f], [name_f]Christiane[/name_f], [name_f]Sabine[/name_f], etc., all of which end in the “uh” sound in [name_m]German[/name_m]).

I would say [name_m]KEER[/name_m]-stuh or KER-stuh, but leaning towards the first pronunciation.

I would’ve pronounced it just like the op… keerst. Idk if the ‘e’ on the end is pronounced like ‘uh’ or ‘ay’ so it would either be (for me):
[name_m]KEER[/name_m]-stuh or [name_m]KEER[/name_m]-stay. I’d probably be more inclined to use the latter.

I think its pronounced like keer-shta

At first sight, I would pronounce it like [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f].

I don’t know how it’s supposed to be pronounced, but as I see it I would pronounce it [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f]. If that’s not right, you may end up correcting people often!

I read it as Kir-stee.

I would pronounce it ker-stE, Like [name_f]Kirstie[/name_f] Alley

I would say it the same way as [name_f]Maggie[/name_f].
