I pronounce it like soar-in. [name_m]Soren[/name_m] is the spelling that looks right to me. [name_u]Sonny[/name_u] works as a nickname to me!

I don’t love [name_u]Salem[/name_u] (just a personal preference thing) but I kind of do like [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_m]Soren[/name_m] as a combo! I wouldn’t have expected to because in a lot of ways the two names are pretty similar to each other, but somehow it’s working for me.

I really like redundant combos lately! Lol
[name_u]Milo[/name_u] mercy
[name_f]Riva[/name_f] [name_u]Roux[/name_u]
[name_u]Ezra[/name_u] [name_u]Eliah[/name_u]
And now [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_m]Soren[/name_m]

(Not sure if redundant is the correct word but I couldn’t find a better one to explain what I mean)

I know a boy named [name_m]Soren[/name_m] and it’s pronounced soar-en.

I think soh-ren as well.

I pronounce [name_m]Soren[/name_m] like soar-en. [name_u]Sonny[/name_u] would be so cute as a nickname!

I pronoucne it soh-ren (soh as in the sound in socks)
I could be pronouncing it wrong but that’s the way the one I met pronounced it

Salem [name_m]Soren[/name_m] has a witchy vibe

Like the word soarin’. I don’t dislike it on a girl but [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_m]Soren[/name_m] reads very masculine for me. I like both names but I wouldn’t use them together. Maybe [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_u]Sorrel[/name_u] or [name_m]Soren[/name_m] [name_u]Senna[/name_u]?

I pronounce it with the stress on the second syllable - sore-EN/sur-EN (the first syllable is kind of a mix of sore and sur for me)

Don’t know for sure about the correct spelling, but I think [name_m]Soren[/name_m] is correct.

I don’t draw an immediate connection from [name_m]Soren[/name_m] to [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]/Sonny, but that’s a nickname that kinda works for anything.

Love it! It feels extremely masculine to me, though.

I think soh-reen

I think this is how I would explain how I pronounce it too. Not ‘soar-in’ and not ‘so-ren’ (where the ‘so’ sounds like ‘sew’).

I don’t personally love the name [name_u]Salem[/name_u] for a girl, but I don’t mind [name_m]Soren[/name_m] in the middle for a girl even though it’s a traditionally masculine name. I like the alliteration of [name_u]Salem[/name_u] [name_m]Soren[/name_m] though so something like [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] [name_m]Soren[/name_m] would be really cute.

I’d pronounce it SOAR-en

I don’t know about correctness, but I think the most common spelling is [name_m]Soren[/name_m].

Sonny? Sure!

I think [name_u]Salem[/name_u] and [name_m]Soren[/name_m] would both make really solid first names. They each have such a strong identity that I can’t decide whether they work harmoniously together or not.

Soh-ren

Soh-ren (first syllable like socks, not like soak)

I know one [name_m]Soren[/name_m]. He pronounces it soar-en.

Riva [name_u]Roux[/name_u] is great!

Sor-en

Seren would be the other pronounciation I think. Which is a Welsh name.

I’d say it like soh-ren

I’d pair [name_m]Soren[/name_m] with a feminine name to avoid confusions. Would definitely expect Salem Soren to be a boy
