After recently hearing many berries talk about the name [name_f]Isolde[/name_f], I am really starting to like it. Problem is, I have no clue how to pronounce it-- [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]'s page on Nameberry gives no pronounciation. Could someone help me out here? Thanks. 
I’m not really sure because I always thought it was a spelling variant of the Irish/Celtic mythological name [name_f]Iseult[/name_f] (Ee-sault/Ee-sauld with a soft d), and I think it can be. I think it also has origins in other languages ([name_m]German[/name_m] maybe?) and can also be pronounced Ee-saul-duh (I put ‘aul’ because it’s not quite o like in go)
I pronounce it Iz-old.

As for pronounciation, I think you are correct. “Ee-saul-duh” seems to match up with the other searchs that I have done on [name_f]Isolde[/name_f]. Does anyone think [name_f]Isolde[/name_f] is pronounced differently?

OK, so I think we’ve narrowed it down to two pronounciations: EE-[name_m]SAUL[/name_m]-DUH and EE-SOLD/ EE-ZOLD. I will probably be posting a poll about which one it is, so be sure to check that out. Thanks to everyone who gave their input!
