2 questions!!! How would you pronounce E V O L E T??

Also have you seen/heard of this name before or is it your first time?

EV-oh-let

I’ve seen it before, I think it’s from a TV show, right? I think it caught on in a minor way a few years ago and even spawned some spelling variants, like [name_f]Evolette[/name_f] and Evoleht (“the love” backwards).

I’d pronounce it ev-oh-let. (Ev as in ever)

I’ve only ever seen it on Nameberry a few times

i would say EV-uh-luht. i’ve been aware of it for a long time (though i slightly prefer the similar avelot), but i’ve never met one.

I know an [name_f]Evolette[/name_f] (eh-vo-let). She’s 9 - it’s a very pretty name

I would pronounce it EV-uh-let. I came across it on Nameberry a while ago and liked it, so it went on my list. I don’t know any people with the name in real life.

ev-oh-lay/ay-vo-lay, but based on everyone else’s response, I’m assuming that’s wrong lol. I’ve only ever seen it on NB.

Eh-voh-let

It’s official origin I think is from the movie 10,000 b.c. where the name is sorta supposed to be a backwards spelling of ‘love’ with ‘et’ added on. However I have also found it as an alternative spelling of the mid evil name ‘Evelot’

I do know someone who has a little girl named this.

Personally I actually really like this name.

I’ve never seen the name [name_f]Evolet[/name_f] before. I think I must have just seen your other post about it though because I just answered a question with [name_f]Evolet[/name_f] in in.

I would pronounce it ev-o-let. Kind of like how it’s spelled. I would be very nervous about my pronunciation though and it would take me a while to remember and feel confident about the spelling.
