Pronounciations

I feel kinda silly asking this, but there are a few names which I dont really know how theyre pronounced:

Imogem: Im-o-gin?
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]: [name_u]Adel[/name_u]- ayd?
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]: This one I say like [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] without the ‘n’ but im unsure
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]: [name_u]Ren[/name_u]?

Thanks berries!

I’m bad at typing out pronunciations but I say them like this:

Im-o-gin but I say the o more like uh so it comes out like Im-uh-gin
[name_m]Add[/name_m]-eh-layd
Ay-duh
[name_u]Ren[/name_u]

[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]- Ih-moe-jen
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]- [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-dell-aid
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]- Ay-duh
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]- [name_u]Ren[/name_u]

I pronounce them the same as you.

[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]: Im-o-jen.
[name_f]Imogene[/name_f] with the e on the end is usually im-oh-jeen. For some reason it’s “out” on NB and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] is in? Not sure why.

[name_f]Ada[/name_f]: [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] without the ‘n’ is how some people say it. I prefer the Spanish pronunciation which is more like Odd-uh, with the a of “father” rather than “aid.”

[name_u]Wren[/name_u]: [name_u]Ren[/name_u]. Rhymes with im-o-jen.

[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]: Somewhere between im-uh-jen and im-oh-jen.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]: [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-del-aid.
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]: [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-duh. Ay-duh is probably acceptable too tho
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]: [name_u]Ren[/name_u].

www.forvo.com is a great resource to hear how names are pronounced by native speakers in any country that the name is used reasonably often.

Thanks everyone!
