[name_f]Do[/name_f] you say Freh-drick or [name_m]Fred[/name_m]-er-rick? Thanks for your input ![]()
āfreh-drickā
FREH-duh-rick
Such a handsome name, pronounced either way. I pronounce it fred-rik.
I say āFreh-drickā
Being Danish, I would say āFre-the-rikā or in daily speech just āfreth-rickā. A handsome and lovely name either way
I say [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] with 3 syllables, the 2nd syllable can be quite short though.
I believe the name [name_m]Fredrick[/name_m] exists as well, so Iād pronounce that one with 2 syllables consistently.
Freh-drik, both sound nice though.
I say [name_m]Fred[/name_m]-er-ick, because of the āeā in the middle. Iād say [name_m]Fred[/name_m]-rick for [name_m]Fredrick[/name_m]. I like [name_m]Frederick[/name_m].
[name_m]Fred[/name_m]-er-rick
I say [name_m]Fred[/name_m]-er-rick but with my accent it comes out as Freh-drick. The er sound becomes lost in most word
I say āFreh-drickā
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] with three syllablesā¦[name_m]Fredrick[/name_m] with two.
Fhre-drick or [name_m]Fred[/name_m]-rick not a huge fan of the third syllable in there ([name_m]Fred[/name_m]-er-ick)
I read it [name_m]Fred[/name_m]-er-ick, but Iād likely say [name_m]Fred[/name_m]-drick (yes, with the double ādā!) out loud.
Ditto.
Iād consider it to be 2.5 syllables. lol
