I usually say or-ee-lee-ah, but it can also be or-ay-lee-ah. It’s one of those names that just has multiple legitimate pronunciations
I’ve only ever heard it pronounced or-ay-lee-ah.
I say [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] as Or-[name_u]RAY[/name_u]-lee-uh.
I pronounce it or-AY-lee-ah.
I pronounce it ‘or-ree-lee-ah’
It’s originally a [name_m]Roman[/name_m] name (one of the roads that leads to [name_m]Rome[/name_m]) so I pronounce it the Italian way: ah-RAIL-ya
I think ow-REH-lee-a comes closest to what I say. Similar to yours but with an audible “u”
Not sure if the first one is meant to be this, but I pronounce [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] as “or-ray-lee-ah”
I say O-rehl-ee-ah.
I say it more like Oh-ray-lee-uh
or-[name_u]RAY[/name_u]-lee-uh. Like the beginning of [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] but instead of “rawr-ah” it’s “ray-lee-uh”.
Ditto…
Using @eoxima’s convenient example, I would pronounce [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]: Au(as in [name_f]Aurora[/name_f])-rehl-ee-uhh. I have also heard [name_u]RAY[/name_u]-lee-uh but I like that pronunciation much, much less
o(h)-[name_f]REE[/name_f]-lee-a in English, ow-RELL-lee-a in Spanish
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] is pronounced “aw-reel-yah” or “aw-rill-ah” where I live. The pronunciations mentioned in previous posts actually make this name sound pretty, lol.
Same here.
My favourite pronunciation is Aw-ray-lee-a, which is how I am gonna say it if I ever have my own [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]. Sometimes I say/hear Or- instead of Aw-, or that [name_u]Ray[/name_u]- and Reh- are getting mixed up. I don’t care about other pronunciations.
I tend to say it with more of an o sound as well, usually as oh-ree-lee-ah
I would pronounce it or-reh-lee-a.
