I’d say [name]Roz[/name]-uh-lind, which, incidentally, is also what this woman in the optometrist’s office today said at the receptionist’s counter when giving her name.
I’d say it [name]Roz[/name]-uh-lind too, and that’s how the only [name]Rosalind[/name] I’ve known said it. If I try and say it in an American accent it comes out something close to Rawz-a-lind, so I’m guessing that’s where you are, but the British pronounciation is [name]Roz[/name]-a-lind.
I posted this same thread a few weeks ago. The correct prn is [name]Roz[/name] uh lind. I sooooooooooooooo wish the correct prn was [name]Rose[/name] uh lind. I think that is so much more fetching, but its not, so I will move on.
Oh no! I didn’t even realize the “correct” pronunciation was [name]Roz[/name]-uh-[name]Lind[/name]. I have been saying [name]Rose[/name]-uh-[name]Lind[/name] for awhile but I have never met one in real life…I prefer [name]Rose[/name]-uh-[name]Lind[/name] and had it in my list. Darn.
“[name]Roz[/name]-uh-lind” is the correct pronunciation.
