It’s not going on my list but I have a question for you all. If I wanted the name [name_f]Lys[/name_f]/Lyss pronounced with the “ih” sound as in “in”, would it be better to use [name_f]Lys[/name_f] or Lyss? I know [name_f]Lys[/name_f] is a name separate from what I’m looking at that is often pronounced differently so I started wondering about the second s.

  • Lyss
  • Neither spelling (please comment!)

Lyss works but I would probably just spell it Liss.

I would say it as lees.

I agree with @AerieEerie - Lyss gives me ‘lihs’ more than [name_f]Lys[/name_f] does, but I think Liss is clearest way to get that pronunciation.

I pressed neither but I thought it said “either”. I would probably pronounce both like the I in “in”.
