I’ve been looking for girl names that could use the nickname [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and I recently came across [name_f]Eviana[/name_f]. I was just wondering would you pronounce it EviAHna or EviANNA? I feel like whatever pronunciation is chosen it would still be pronounced the opposite way a lot and I would always be correcting it.
[name_f]My[/name_f] instinct is to pronounce it EviAHna
I’d say Ev-ee-[name_m]AH[/name_m]-na.
Ev e ah na
I like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
for [name_f]Evi[/name_f]… Or [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]
Ev-ee-[name_m]AH[/name_m]-na (Ev as in ever, not eve) for me.
This is the first time I’ve heard this name and I really like it! I would also tend to say it Ev-ee-[name_m]AH[/name_m]-na too, would love to be able to use it but as I already have a [name_f]Vienna[/name_f] I think it would be too similar.
Ya, I immediately thought Ev ee [name_m]AH[/name_m] na too, but I was looking at another baby name website and it spelled it out phonetically as Ev ee [name_f]ANN[/name_f] a.
Which sounds better: [name_f]Eviana[/name_f] (Ev ee [name_m]AH[/name_m] na) or Evianna (Ev ee [name_f]ANN[/name_f] a)?
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is on my list, but I feel like it’s too long and girly for my taste. Plus my sons name is very short and simple so I feel like it doesn’t go as nicely with his name.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] plain [name_f]Eva[/name_f] is of course pretty, but too common for my liking.
I would say Ev-ee-[name_m]AH[/name_m]-na.
