might be misspelled as sage. i have a friend named sage and she says people mishear her name as sadie.

I love [name_u]Saige[/name_u] and this specific spelling! Possibly the only con would be mishearing the name as [name_f]Paige[/name_f] at times
Pros: nature connection, sharp sound, nice meaning
Cons: people might misspell it (the [name_u]Sage[/name_u] spelling ranks much higher so people might default to that. plus the herb is spelled as sage)
Could be a pro or a con: no obvious nicknames

Could be considered a tad incomplete
Pros: It’s a nature themed name that’s currently on trend and very sweet sounding, it’s got a nice, neutral vibe to it.
Cons: Would likely be misspelled (but easy enough to correct!), unisex (but leans feminine, some people are bothered by unisex names 
), and is currently pretty trendy?

Pros: nice sound and meaning, not strongly gendered (this is a pro for me, but opinions on this vary!)
Cons: Likely to have to spell it out each time. I think the [name_u]Sage[/name_u] spelling is more common.
