While writing another draft of my YA contemporary novel, I’ve lost my love for the main character’s name, [name]Margaret[/name] ‘[name]Maggie[/name]’ [name]Fletcher[/name]. I was hoping for some name ideas, with or without nicknames. I’m not too sure on the surname, either. All help would be greatly appreciated! 
[name]Maggie[/name] is a seventeen year old from (and living in) [name]Ireland[/name]. She’s a witty bookworm with few friends. In her eyes, the life she leads is dull. She hopes to escape to [name]New[/name] [name]York[/name] to pursue a career in journalism, but is worried that she’ll be too afraid to do that. She has problems at home, her father (who she has a good relationship with) is an alcoholic and her mother died when she was a child. Throughout the novel, with ‘help’ from her deceased mother and ragtag group of friends, she grows as a person and learns to live.
Any ideas would be very appreciated.
