What do you guys think of [name]Quade[/name] for a boy? And which spelling do you prefer… [name]Quade[/name] or [name]Quaid[/name]? It’s really growing on me. It’s unique, yet familiar. And a strong, handsome name, [name]IMO[/name].
What would you pair in the middle?
[name]Quade[/name] [name]Callen[/name]
Apparently, [name]Quade[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] is a famous athlete and I love the flow of that, but would never copy someone’s name exactly.
[name]How[/name] is it pronounced? I am pronouncing it just like [name]Cade[/name], and therefore it doesn’t seem all that unique to me. I love [name]Cade[/name] and [name]Caden[/name] is a massive guilty pleasure for me but it isn’t original.
I prefer the look of [name]Quaid[/name], just because I know someone with the last name McQuaid.
I like it! Kind of spin on [name]Quinn[/name], but less unisex. Definitely [name]Quaid[/name] - I think the [name]Quaid[/name] brothers make this spelling more intuitive. [name]Quade[/name] looks strange to me. (Though social security tells me [name]Quade[/name] is the slightly more popular spelling.)
@sheflieswithherownwings - It’s not pronounced identical to [name]Cade[/name], but has the same feel. [name]Say[/name] it just like you would be starting to say [name]QUeen[/name], but with the -aid ending.
[name]Quaid[/name] makes me think of [name]Dennis[/name] [name]Quaid[/name], so I was thinking it may be better to go with [name]Quade[/name] so his whole life he doesn’t get, “Oh, like [name]Dennis[/name] [name]Quaid[/name]?” But at that point, not many people his age may be familiar with [name]Dennis[/name] [name]Quaid[/name].
[name]Quaid[/name] [name]Levi[/name] was at the top of my list. Also love: [name]Quaid[/name] [name]Harper[/name], [name]Quaid[/name] [name]Beckett[/name], [name]Quaid[/name] [name]Lucas[/name], [name]Quaid[/name] [name]Malachi[/name], [name]Quaid[/name] [name]Callahan[/name], [name]Quaid[/name] [name]Sutton[/name] & [name]Quaid[/name] [name]Sullivan[/name]. All great combos!
