What do you think of this name?
I LOVE QUENTIN!
[name_f]My[/name_f] top boys name rn (tied with Valentine), loved it since I heard it! So much nickname potential, so classic/vintage but still cool and modern.
Very handsome! I agree with @EJpuddlejumper that it hits the perfect balance of vintage/traditional and modern/cool.
I think [name_u]Quentin[/name_u] would make a lovely choice, especially for a fifth son because of the meaning of the name, Personally I think there may be a problem with it being a one-person name. The kid may encounter quite a lot of [name_m]Tarantino[/name_m] movie references when he gets older.
I really love [name_u]Quentin[/name_u]! I think it would be higher on my list, but I’m friends with a [name_u]Quentin[/name_u], so I can’t use it. But I think it’s so handsome!
I like it, I had a friend in highschool with that name, he was very sweet and taught me how to skateboard so I also have a nice association with the name. This was around the time that [name_u]Quentin[/name_u] Tarantino’s Kill [name_m]Bill[/name_m] films came out but I never associated the name with him due to my friend, I feel like that wouldn’t be a big deal anyway, all names have an association until someone hears them enough times.
I like it.
I like [name_m]Quinten[/name_m], it is a great boys name! I’ve only met 2 Quentins
Really Nice
It’s my husbands name! I’d never met anyone with the name before him so you probably wouldn’t end up with multiple Quentin’s in his class!
He’s a third child but his parents chose it because he was the 5th member of their family and the 5th grandchild of the family, which I think is a nice little meaning for them.
It’s a strong name that people don’t often forget once introduced to a [name_u]Quentin[/name_u]
It’s my name! I like it, it’s really nice having a more unique name. I’ve only met one or two other Quentin’s, all men, I’m the only girl I know names [name_u]Quentin[/name_u] and I quite like that. It can be miss-spelled frequently is the only downside I have.
@moonwriteen when I was a kid some family friends called me “Tino” because they thought the [name_m]Tarantino[/name_m] association was funny, but most people I’ve met don’t think of [name_m]Tarantino[/name_m].
@Quentin99 Oh. I may have kind of a warped perspective because my parents and their friends are all absolutely crazy about cinema. Nice to know it wasn’t a problem for you besides playful nicknames from family!
