It really depends on what the last name is. If you really like the name [name_u]Michael[/name_u], go for it. 
I would use it.
I agree with the previous poster. It all depends on the last name. If you think it’s too repetitive I would recommend the similar [name_u]Micah[/name_u] or using [name_u]Michael[/name_u] in the middle.
