What is your favorite character name vs name you would name a kid?
My favorite character name is Scarlett but if I ever were to have a kid I would name her Mara.

Well, uh… I kind of don’t want kids!
I’d name a character [name_m]Lucien[/name_m] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] (I’m low-key actually making a character named that currently), but not a kid; as much as I love the name [name_m]Lucien[/name_m] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], I wouldn’t want a kid to be bullied for their name or something like that, and I know that where I live, they would be

I would name the character [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] or [name_u]Harlow[/name_u].
I would name my kid [name_m]Crew[/name_m] or [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].

I have a character named Florence whose nickname is Flora. I love her name and would love to use it on a real baby, too!
Other characters I have include Killian, Ivy (a nickname for the double barreled Ilsa Violeta, which I like), Elise, Finley, Magalie / nn Meg, Selasi, Gemma, Zinnia, Niamh, Tom, etc.
Names I’d give to my children fall more along the lines of Rose, Elizabeth, Peter, Josephine, Arthur, Otis, Matilda, Mabel, George, Alice, Winifred, Nathaniel / nn Nat, etc.

rn, it’s Klari (pro. like Clary) for a character, and always Annabelle for a real baby!

All the names I like but my husband would never let me name a kid get turned into character names 
And on the other hand, some names I was planning to use in books I’ve decided not to because we want to use them on a kid someday and it suddenly felt strange to use them for characters.
[name_m]Soren[/name_m] is my favorite boy name ever and I ended up naming a character Severn who definitely would have been [name_m]Soren[/name_m] if I hadn’t decided to retire it from writing to save for a kid.

I have so many names that I love for characters, but some of my favorites are [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_u]Kai[/name_u], [name_u]Harper[/name_u], and [name_f]Deona[/name_f] (Dee).
As for a kid, I don’t plan on having kids, but if I did, I’d want a daughter named [name_f]Evangelina[/name_f] (Evvie).

I don’t think I would want kids, espenally since my little sister is going crazy with her screams, but if I ever had a girl, I would name her [name_u]Julie[/name_u], and for a boy, I would name him [name_u]Leo[/name_u].

Names I’d actually use if I had kids would be Slavic names mainly like [name_f]Maša[/name_f], [name_f]Iskra[/name_f], and Draža
