I know I’ve posted about this many times, so please gogó Unfortunately, I am feeling a little off again about using a form of my own middle name as a future daughter’s name. I love that it is so strong and sweet. I know in using [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] that I would be honoring my grandmother, and I LOVE that and I love the name so much. With [name_f]Molly[/name_f], I’d be honoring my grandma and my mom, and I love that too!
Some other options that I’ve been thinking of are:
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (I like the strong z and also saw this one on here earlier and loved it!)
[name_u]Ivy[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (I read somewhere that in addition to being a botanical name, [name_u]Ivy[/name_u] means joyous?)

Would it be better to go with another name than I love and continue the tradition of using [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as the middle name? [name_m]Can[/name_m] you think of any other names with one strong sound, like the z? [name_u]Will[/name_u] I regret not using [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] or [name_f]Molly[/name_f]?

What about like a cute form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]? Like [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Buffy[/name_f] would be such cute combos.

@Wittyusername103 Thank you so much! I really appreciate this! [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is my favorite form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], which is why I was originally thinking of using that. But thinking of using that. But there are so many other cute names we can get from it!

I wonder if you’re tiring out the names and therefore turning off them? All names lose sparkle through analysis and scrutiny. Maybe they need to be popped on the shelf (treated as a possibility, nothing more) until you’re closer to using them? Then just fun in meantime?
On that note, could always list as possibilities, different versions of both, one or a combination:
Marianne
Mary
Maisie
Elspeth
Elsie
Liberty
Lily
Beth
May
Martha
Elise
Isabella
Belle
Bess
Isla
Lisette
Betty
Then just list a handful of your other faves of the ones listed (I like Anna, Hazel, Bridget, Noelle & Grace). In other words, I would create a list of 10 names rather than agonise on deciding on one right now.

I second the above suggestion to just pop both on the shelf for a little bit, if you overthink your favourites too much they stop being favourites! That said, out if the combos you’ve listed I love [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] 
I’d recommend mulling over other names you love and then coming back to [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], a little bit of time might give a different perspective.

I think you should keep [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] on your list - they’re both lovely names and have spark and brightness. I would keep them on your list, but also consider other options - as you are - just to test whether [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Molly[/name_f] feel more appealing still?

@EloiseT Thank you so much! I don’t necessarily think I’m tired of [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but I know I’m overthinking things, like I always do.

@Mary_Rose Thank you so much! I will absolutely do that. I agree that there is something so simple and special about [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I know they have the same meaning but I love both. I’m leaning more toward [name_f]Anna[/name_f] right now. I’ve also always loved [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].

I would go with [name_f]Molly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! I also plan on passing [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] down in the middle name, but I think I’ll spell it [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]. It looks a bit softer to me.

I think maybe my problem isn’t the names [name_f]Molly[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] themselves, but the fact that I was so stuck on [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as the middle name for both when I would only realistically use it for one. I think it’s worth exploring other options!
