[name_u]Caro[/name_u] as a nickname

I love [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]! I have both [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] & [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] on my personal list. I picture a smart, brown-eyed girl with freckles that listens to country-pop music. I like the nicknames [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] & [name_f]Carly[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] are essentially the same name. It’s just like naming two sisters [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. It doesn’t work. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] are just lovely as sister names!

I prefer [name_f]Carolina[/name_f], with [name_u]Caro[/name_u] or [name_f]Lina[/name_f] as nicknames. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is too close for sisters; [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is lovely for a sibling.

[name_f]Adore[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Sounds very sweet and feminine, with a bit of southern flair. I agree with everyone that [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is much better than [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] as a sibling.

IM IN THE SAME BOAT in regards to [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] for siblings!!! [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is on our list for baby #3 and I’m going back and forth on if it’s too close!

  1. I love it- I’ve only known two, but I think of someone intelligent, with a dry sense of humour- level headed and stylish, classy and logical. If they belonged to a movie era / genre, it would be the 1940’s film noir, and they would be [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] Bacall.
  2. [name_u]Cary[/name_u], [name_u]Carey[/name_u], [name_m]Arrow[/name_m], [name_f]Coco[/name_f].
  3. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] are way too similar, given that they are both feminine variations of the same male name, [name_m]Charles[/name_m]. [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] are still a little close for my liking, but it could work. I like these names with [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]:

I have a cousin with both a [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and a [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. As far as I know, no one has ever been concerned that the names are both variations of [name_m]Charles[/name_m]. i don’t think [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] has a nickname. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is usually “Shah/Shash” Both are very pretty and smart, [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is quieter, more reserved. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is a little more rough-and-tumble.

This is exactly how I picture them!
