Questions about Celia

So I’ve been loving the name [name_f]Celia[/name_f] lately and wanted to ask the Berries a few questions.

  1. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] goes well with my other names? (look at my uc’s combos (not the winter ones) if you don’t know my style)
  2. What kind of vibes do you get from [name_f]Celia[/name_f]? Any names that give you similar vibes?
  3. Any other thoughts about that name? Anything is appreciated!

So, my real name is [name_f]Celia[/name_f]! I think it goes really well with all of the first names in your UC. As for vibes, I see it as… dusty pink and light blue, laces and soft clouds, but my girlfriend has always insisted to me that it’s a “mermaid name”, whatever that means  Other names with similar vibes to me are [name_f]Anya[/name_f], [name_u]Celeste[/name_u], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Lara[/name_f], [name_u]Mina[/name_u], [name_f]Marisol[/name_f], [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Vianne[/name_f]. I don’t really like my name but not because it’s a bad name, I just never thought that it suited me! It feels very feminine which isn’t quite my vibe. But it’s been nice having a unique but familiar-sounding name - it gets mixed up with [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] a lot but I don’t mind! As for nicknames, I only ever get [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], if that matters to you!

If by other names we’re talking [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f] (still not sure what a UC is or where to find it, don’t know if someone could enlighten me), then I absolutely think it meshes well, it might not have been my first thought to match with these names, I’d perhaps have naturally gravitated to something more streamlined which straddles contemporary and vintage and is similarly pretty and feminine, for eg [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. But I definitely think it goes.

I get very elegant vibes from [name_f]Celia[/name_f], with a slightly mystical / celestial edge from the sounds and meaning (though this slant doesn’t feel as obvious with [name_f]Celia[/name_f] as it does with the likes of [name_u]Celeste[/name_u], Selene… to me anyway.).

Although frillier than my usual style (not a fan of -ia names generally), I’m really warming to [name_f]Celia[/name_f], just as I warmed to the similar [name_f]Delia[/name_f] not long ago. Today it would make a refreshing, elegant and unusual choice.

I think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] fits right in with your other names, she would be a great addition!

From [name_f]Celia[/name_f] I get different vibes at once, she sounds like she’d be perfect for a character in [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of [name_u]Green[/name_u] Gables, she reminds me of dark academia, she can be a tomboy or preppy. I think she is very versatile!

There is a [name_f]Celia[/name_f] in a book called The [name_u]Night[/name_u] Circus, it’s a very magical book and when I see the name I always think of the book. It’s a gorgeous name sitting right in between familiar but not overused.

[name_f]Celia[/name_f] is beautiful :ballet_shoes:

Yes I think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] works well she feels like a natural sister to [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Ines[/name_f], [name_m]Felix[/name_m] + [name_u]Emrys[/name_u].

I think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] is very fairylike for me I think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] belongs to the fairy coquette aesthetic. I have imagery surrounding the secret garden, pink lace and ballet. I think [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Marisol[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f] + [name_f]Beatriz[/name_f] have a similar feel.

I think she’s beautiful, has a lovely meaning and timeless.

Defs agree with this, it’s uber feminine but also has a boldness to it.

  3. I really like it. I recently read The [name_u]Night[/name_u] Circus which put the name on my radar and I’ve been considering adding it to my list. The only negative I can think of is that it sounds a little bit like Celiac Disease but I don’t think that’s actually a dealbreaker.
