[name_f]Iantha[/name_f] is one of my favorite names, but I have some questions for you.
[name_m]How[/name_m] would YOU pronounce it?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f]?
What are your personal opinions on the name?
Nicknames, sibsets, middle names, ect.
I first read it in a book and have loved it on and off ever since. As far as I know, it is Latin meaning “iris” which makes it all the more special to me personally.
Excited to hear your input!

No
I.love it
Using a nickname would ruin it
I would say I an thee. Never heard it used [name_m]IRL[/name_m].
I guess I’d pronounce it like [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f] but an -[name_m]AH[/name_m] instead of -EE. I do prefer [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f] as it’s a close family friend’s name, and the fact I haven’t heard [name_f]Iantha[/name_f].
I agree that you’d be ruining the name by giving it a nn. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it needs one? As for sibsets, you could go all floral themed ([name_f]Gardenia[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], etc), or match it with other vintage-y classical names ([name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Cressida[/name_f]/[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f], [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]).
I would pronounce it eye-[name_f]ANNE[/name_f]-thuh
I do prefer [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f], but only slightly
I like it, it’s a lovely name
nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f]? [name_f]May[/name_f] not need one as it’s a very pretty name as is!
