I think so. It certainly has a jaunty, youthful feel, but it is very handsome as well. I have never actually met a [name_m]Milo[/name_m], so I cannot exactly picture an adult named [name_m]Milo[/name_m]. However, if I met a man named [name_m]Milo[/name_m], I am sure they would wear it just fine!
Hmm, I do feel like [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], and [name_m]Milo[/name_m] (or something along those lines) would fit a little better. That said, all three names you listed do share the warm, upbeat vibe of [name_m]Milo[/name_m] ~ even if they are not as nickname-y.
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. For some reason, [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] is not at all appealing to me. Ew, phew… just not great rhyming words, haha. [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], on the other hand, is so bouncy and fun!
[name_m]Harry[/name_m]! 100% [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. I know it is viewed as the nickname for [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], but I honestly adore it as a standalone. I have never been able to get on board with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]… the [name_f]Hen[/name_f]- part doesn’t sound particularly nice to me. Sorry! [name_m]Harry[/name_m] is just so easy going and fabulous. I would definitely consider naming a son [name_m]Harry[/name_m]!
I do not find [name_u]James[/name_u] boring at all! But keep in mind this is coming from someone who loves [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_m]Ian[/name_m], and the like. I really think [name_u]James[/name_u] is soft and strong. Yes, it is popular, and for a reason.
I think you could avoid [name_u]Jamie[/name_u], no problem. The only [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] I have ever met was a girl; I honestly would not think to call a [name_u]James[/name_u] by [name_u]Jamie[/name_u]. [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] actually seems longer than [name_u]James[/name_u]!
Adorable. I have seen [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m] ([name_u]Jem[/name_u]) and [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] ([name_u]Jem[/name_u]) on a couple signatures and I think it is such a clever & adorable nn for a young boy. [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] is one of my top girl names, and I would use [name_f]Gem[/name_f]/Gems as an occasional nn for her. I just all around love [name_u]Jem[/name_u]/[name_f]Gem[/name_f]. Super charming!
[name_m]Findlay[/name_m]…well, my first guess would be Find-ley. I would pronounce the d. [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] and [name_u]Finley[/name_u] are both [name_m]Fin[/name_m]-ley for me.
Boy, for sure. Mainly for personal reasons, though. I have an ancestor named [name_u]Finlay[/name_u], and have never met a girl [name_u]Finlay[/name_u]/[name_u]Finley[/name_u]. Also, the nn [name_u]Finn[/name_u] seems very masculine to me.
[name_m]Milo[/name_m] as a nn… well, what about [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_u]Milan[/name_u], or [name_m]Milas[/name_m]?
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]! I have an irrational dislike of [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]. I love a lot of popular names, but I just hear [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] everywhere. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] is much spunkier imo.
For some reason, I picture [name_m]Milo[/name_m] as a curly haired boy. He is super playful and mischievous. He loves to bring “treasures” from outside into the house. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] is an explorer, always jumping in puddles. Through it all, he has a toothy smile. [name_m]Milo[/name_m] has such adorable imagery for me
