I’m hoping that everyone can help me! I have a couple of top contenders for my little girl due at the end of [name]April[/name]. My first daughter, now 3, is named [name]Ava[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. Let me know which one is your favorite!
I think that more and more [name]Finley[/name] is considered unisex. We were also considering the spelling [name]Finleigh[/name], which looks a little more feminine for that reason. Thanks for the input!
[name]Hi[/name]! I think [name]Layla[/name] and [name]Colette[/name] sound best with [name]Ava[/name] [name]Grace[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Layla[/name] [name]Colette[/name] as a first name and middle name? I also like [name]Finley[/name] [name]Colette[/name].
I prefer [name]Finley[/name] on a boy, but I don’t object to it on a girl. While I agree that [name]Finleigh[/name] looks more feminine, it’s not a very easy or regular spelling. [name]How[/name] about [name]Finlay[/name]? It’s another accepted spelling, same pronunciation and it looks more feminine than [name]Finley[/name] (well, it might be a matter of opinion. It’s up to you.)
I’ve never liked the name [name]Natalie[/name], but that’s only because I know a lot of Natalies and I don’t like them. The name itself is very pretty! It’s so annoying when people you dislike ruin great names. Still, I [name]LOVE[/name] the names [name]Natalia[/name] and [name]Natalya[/name]!
I don’t think the similar sounding [name]Layla[/name] is a good “match” for [name]Ava[/name]'s sibling. [name]Finley[/name] is too unisex. I know if I had a older sister with the feminine name of [name]Ava[/name] and my parents called me a boyish name like [name]Finley[/name], I’d be really ticked!
Definitely [name]Natalie[/name]!! Great name. [name]Colette[/name] is nice too. [name]Don[/name]'t like [name]Layla[/name] and [name]Finley[/name] is way too masculine [name]IMO[/name].
[name]Natalie[/name]! [name]Layla[/name] is lovely but I agree it’s too close in sound ([name]Ava[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] would be lovely though, or [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Lola[/name]). [name]Finley[/name] is too uni next to [name]Ava[/name]. [name]Colette[/name] is a nice name and would be a good second choice, it’s just so different in popularity from [name]Ava[/name]. [name]Natalie[/name] is also very popular and clearly feminine so they just fit so nicely. [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Colette[/name] as pp suggested is a nice combo. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Charlotte[/name]? [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] would also fit well.
[name]Finlay[/name] is a pretty popular boys name, and [name]Finn[/name]/[name]Flynn[/name] are becoming even more popular so I wouldn’t encourage it’s use on girls at all. Unfortunately, I have met a 5 year old girl named [name]Finleigh[/name] and to be honest it was strange and I felt uncomfortable calling her name just because I just expected a little cheeky chap to run towards me. Also, if I saw [name]Ava[/name] & [name]Finlay[/name], I’d just assume you had a boy and a girl.
[name]Ava[/name] & [name]Layla[/name] seem a little bit too close!
I think [name]Ava[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] seem better together but to be honest I think it’s dated, same for [name]Colette[/name].
none of them are bad but I like natalie the best becuase it doesn’t have an A ending and it’s long with more consanants so the two names sound good together.
[name]Natalie[/name] and [name]Ava[/name] are so lovely together. It makes me think [name]Ava[/name] [name]Gardner[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Wood[/name]
