If your boys have traditional names then [name_m]Hendrick[/name_m] works better. What about [name_m]Hendrik[/name_m]? It looks more like [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m] and is more established than [name_m]Hendrick[/name_m] while having the same sound

I voted [name_m]Hendrick[/name_m]. I prefer old fashioned names and [name_m]Hendrick[/name_m] ticks that box for me. It’s very handsome and strong sounding.

Good luck!

I don’t pronounce them the same, but either way I prefer [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m].

I would pronounce them differently if I was reading them on a list. [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m] with an x sound at the end like it’s written, [name_m]Hendrick[/name_m] with a pronounced k sound at the end, like it’s written. So pick the spelling that will give the sound you want. X sound is different from the K sound.

I share this same thought. To me, these are two completely different names, not a variation in spelling. FWIW, I prefer [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m].

I prefer [name_m]Hendrick[/name_m] as to me it sounds more like a first name. [name_m]Hendrix[/name_m] is a surname of people in my family so for me its a little odd as a first name.
