So what do you think, Berries? Recently I’ve been loving [name]Eileen[/name] (eye-leen, rather than aye-leen) . It’s just so innocent and lovely. [name]Do[/name] you think it’s too plain, though?
I really like it, mostly because it was my great-grandmother’s name. It reminds me of raspberries, as she had raspberry patches in her backyard. I agree, it’s innocent and lovely, certainly not too plain. I’d like to see it make a comeback, to be honest.
It’s a bit dated, but it’s a sweet name and it would definitely be refreshing to hear on a baby. I’d put it in the category of names like [name]Ellen[/name], [name]Irene[/name], [name]Theresa[/name], and maybe [name]Jeanette[/name]-- names that are slightly middle-aged but don’t sound totally out of place on a young person.
I love it! I went to high school with an [name]Eileen[/name] and it was a bit unusual even 20 years ago. Charming, old-fashioned and sweet without being the least bit elderly. She would be a standout among the Madisons and Emmas!
It is dated, and all I can think of is the song “Come on [name]Eileen[/name].” Despite that, it does seem spunky or fresh in some way. I’d go for it if you really love it.
[name]Love[/name] it. I’ve always been of [name]Eileen[/name] and [name]Irene[/name]
I [name]LOVE[/name] THIS NAME!!!
