I’m currently working on my girls list! [name_f]My[/name_f] first task is finding the perfect middle name for [name_f]Joy[/name_f]! I’ve narrowed it down to three, but I would still love suggestions!
I’ve been really focusing on name meanings recently, so with that in mind, here are my three options!
[name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] - “joyful and of wondrous beauty”

Next, I don’t feel in love with [name_f]Laura[/name_f], but I am also not totally satisfied with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] either. Which do you prefer with my other names, or just in general, and why?
i love joy mirabel, but i kept being pulled towards joy ophelia - even though mirabel is more my personal taste, something with this combo just clicked
and i voted clara because it doesn’t get as much love these days
So, I quite like all three of your [name_f]Joy[/name_f] combos, but [name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] is the standout! The names just complement each other so well. [name_u]Love[/name_u] it. <3
I tend to prefer [name_f]Clara[/name_f] over [name_f]Laura[/name_f], but only because [name_f]Laura[/name_f] feels a little dated – it’s still a great, classic name that deserves more appreciation than it gets. But if you’re not really feeling either, maybe you should look for another name that’s similar in style, but that you absolutely love.
Fwiw, I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f], but [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is stunning! I would keep that over [name_f]Clara[/name_f] in a heartbeat.
I think all three middles go nicely with [name_f]Joy[/name_f] but I think [name_f]Joy[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f]’s meaning makes the most sense and is my favorite.
As for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Laura[/name_f], I did it based on my personal preference. I think both fit your style beautifully. Honestly, I’m neutral on both but [name_f]Clara[/name_f] edged out slightly because I’ve known fewer people with the name so it shines a tad more.
