Quinn or Orion and middle name help

Thank you everyone for voting on my previous post about picking a boy name! This has been so helpful.

I think I’m most fond of [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] at this point. Which one do you prefer of those two? We have a family name we can use as a middle name and it sounds good with both. However, I’m tempted to put [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] together so we have the option of either. It doesn’t have as nice of a sound to them though.

  • [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] Cardwell
  • [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] Cardwell
  • [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Thompson[/name_m] Cardwell
  • [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Thompson[/name_m] Cardwell

Quinn [name_m]Thompson[/name_m] Cardwell is so distinguished altogether, but [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is such a down-to-earth name on its own. I love it!

Love [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] Cardwell so much!

I’m torn between the two middles. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Thompson[/name_m] Cardwell sounds so distinguished, flows a little better to my ear, and is a family name.

But it sounds like you’d love to use both of your favourites, so I voted for [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] Cardwell. It also has the benefit of not being three surname names back to back, which can sometimes sound a little bit like a law firm (I don’t get this vibe from [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Thompson[/name_m] C, by the way — just talking generally!)

I could use [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] as a family name too. [name_m]Thompson[/name_m] was more prominent, but [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] was also a significant person.

In terms of aesthetics, [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] Cardwell would get my vote! That is a beautiful combo

But all of these work well, so it’s which one speaks to you most. Family name vs. favourite you’d hate to let go of. Always a tough decision!

Agree. [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] Cardwell LN is prerty fetching. And thats coming from someone who doesnt like MNs, let alone double MNs. But [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] are both short, and then Cardwell has a different rhythm, so it all works.

The opposite order, [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_u]Orion[/name_u], does not flow well, however. Awkward on the mouth.

I like [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] Cardwell and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] Cardwell the most. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] would be a QT.

I love both [name_u]Orion[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] and I like them together a lot! I voted [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] only because I like the flow slightly more, but all these combos are great.
