Quirky/ Nature Middle

Thank you for your opinions on [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]. It’s still at the top of my list. Might be number 1 depending on middle names.
Would you please be so kind to give me suggestions for quirky/nature inspired middle names for [name_m]Harry[/name_m]. Looking for something fun and offbeat to balance out the old man charm of [name_m]Harry[/name_m].
Thanks so much!!!

I am trying really hard to think of quirky nature inspired names to go with [name_m]Harry[/name_m] and i just cant do it. Nothing i can think of sounds right. for example.
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Stone[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Ash[/name_u] (while ash is a cool name, i think you can hear why this one would be out for me.)
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]River[/name_u]/s
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] (sounds too much like [name_u]Garry[/name_u] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] from pokemon for me.)

SO then I opted to try quirky but not necessarily nature inspired.

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] ([name_u]Reece[/name_u])
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Ian[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Beau[/name_u]

I dunno how fussed i am on any of those though, and they came from my head. it sounds really hard to put [name_m]Harry[/name_m] with anything other than more classical sounding names but best of luck. Hopefully other berries offer some insight.

I agree! Hard name to pair. But I find it cute and underused here in the US. Hoping to find something that clicks before giving up or giving birth!

What do you think about:

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Glenwood[/name_m]/[name_u]Glen[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Jett[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Knight[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Leland[/name_u]

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Quartz[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Quin[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Rex[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Rockwell[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Shale[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Tallis[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Talon[/name_m]

My brother in law is [name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]. I would definitely say the names together a few times and around some friends with an ear of young male humor. Like the other poster mentioned there could be some unintentional sound alikes or something that would be hairy in nature I’d stay away from this group:

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Ash[/name_u]/[name_m]Asher[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Knox[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Tate[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]Tatum[/name_u]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Titus[/name_m]

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Bear[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m]
[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_m]Wolf[/name_m]/[name_m]Wolfe[/name_m]

Personally, I’d stay away from word names/ nouns, though that’s totally your call. If you are looking to avoid things like Harry Fox or Harry Gardener, there are a number of nature inspired names that aren’t typically used as nouns. For example

Harry Calhoun
Harry Sylvester
Harry Orwell
Harry Remington
Harry Silas
Harry Carlow
Harry Elmore
Harry Lyndon

It’d have to flow right with your last name, obviously, but I think my personal favorites would be Orwell or Elmore, or perhaps Silas.

If it were me I would totally name my child Harry James after Harry James Potter, which would only be a Harry Potter connection because I planned it that way, and no one else would think anything of it.

Another option that you probably won’t like, but would avoid this whole hairy issue, would be to name him Henry and call him Harry, which is a pretty common name/nickname pair. It would open up a lot more middle name options.

Good luck!
