Ramona and Sunny ? Twin girls

Me and my husband both have a favorite name from our list but we don’t think both of our favorites go well together as a twin set. Opinions please on [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] as a twin set.

[name_u]Sunny[/name_u]

[name_f]Scarlet[/name_f]

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]

[name_f]Viviana[/name_f]

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]

[name_f]Nova[/name_f]

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]

[name_u]August[/name_u]

[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]

[name_f]Manon[/name_f]

Please Pick the list apart and give us opinions!!!

I think they’re rather mismatched, that isn’t necessarily bad, however, these two feel very different from one another, one is short, nickname-y, cute, quirky and might “inspire” a lot of jokes; the other is more classic, serious, toned-down, it’s also quite fun but in a differentm more sophisticated way.

From your list, I really like these together:
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] & [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] & [name_f]Viviana[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] & [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] & [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]
[name_f]Manon[/name_f] & [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] & [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] (though I feel [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] would fit even better)

I can’t quite find a place for [name_u]August[/name_u] as it is a boys’ name to me, I do think it would fit in the word name category of [name_f]Nova[/name_f] and [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] but then they create too much of a sentence together “new [name_u]August[/name_u]” / “sunny [name_u]August[/name_u]”

We agree they are completely mismatched. I love the name [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and really want to find a twin name to go with that. He says the only names he likes are [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Manon[/name_f]

Any thoughts on [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] as a set ?

I like [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] together. You can use the nickname [name_u]Romy[/name_u] and then you get the same long e sound for both girls. Neither name is used widely, so they have a similar level of popularity. Mostly, I like that they both have a quirky, fun sound to them. I approve.

What does he like about [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] and [name_f]Manon[/name_f] (how does he pronounce this) as they are also quite different from one another? Maybe you can go from there and find other names he might like.

For what it’s worth, I think [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] would be very beautiful together, maybe [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] & [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Scarlet[/name_f] or [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] [name_f]Manon[/name_f]?

Or perhaps finding a longer names for [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] like [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f], [name_f]Soleil[/name_f] (so-ley) or [name_f]Marisol[/name_f], however, I do think [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] could absolutely work as a petname for any given name, especially if the kid is smiling a lot, even more so if it’s their middle name.

I also think they’re a bit mismatched. From your list my favourites are [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. Or what about [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] nn [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]?

I never thought of the nickname [name_u]Romy[/name_u] for [name_f]Ramona[/name_f], my husbands main reservations about [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] was that it didn’t have a appropriate nickname. Thank you so much  I love [name_u]Romy[/name_u]. We Dropped [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] off our list and now we are deciding between [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] or [name_f]Margo[/name_f].

I dont think he has much of a naming style, luckilly he has moved on from his idea for [name_f]Manon[/name_f] (i cant pronounce it, he pronounces it [name_f]MAE[/name_f]-no) he is all over the place with his names, [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] is a cute nickname but i couldnt do it as a first name.
Luckilly members on this board somehow understood my naming style (i am not sure i have one) and gave me wonderful suggestions that my husband also likes.
We are now trying to narrow down our list of…
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and

[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]- My favorite
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] -MY second, hubbys second
[name_f]Margo[/name_f]- Hubbys 1st, my third
and
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]- WAS hubbys first, and only suggestion i likes of his, now his last!

What about [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] with the nickname [name_u]Sunny[/name_u]?

I can’t hear of a girl named [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] without thinking of [name_m]Adam[/name_m] Sandler, as one of his daughters is named that. But then, probably 99.9% of the population don’t unwillingly remember such trivia.

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] are great together! While I love [name_f]Manon[/name_f] in theory, I think it would come with a lot of pronunciation issues. I also love the suggestion of [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nn [name_u]Sunny[/name_u].

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] nn. [name_u]Romy[/name_u] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nn. [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] are perfect imo.

From your list, I like [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] with either [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f].

I love it! [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] and [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] sound so good together. [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] also has the nickname [name_u]Romy[/name_u] which you could use and then they would end in the same sound.

[name_f]Ramona[/name_f] nn. [name_u]Romy[/name_u] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] nn. [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] are perfect imo.

From your list, I like [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] with either [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] or [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
