I’ve seen posts where people list what rank a name was even though it wasn’t in the top 1000. Also, where someone will say how many babies were given that name in a year but again it’s not in the top 1000. [name_m]How[/name_m] do you find that info? I’m curious to know if/how much a few names we like are on the move up or down but without using the ssa top 1000 I’m lost. Thanks! [name_u]Jess[/name_u]
The SSA website has downloadable files with national data and state specific data “beyond the top 1000.”
