I’m just going to list some of the names I like, and ask you to list them from favorite to least favorite. (Or you can number them 1st choice, 2nd choice, etc. Whatever works for you). If you want to comment on them, that’s awesome, but I thought this would be a quick way to get a general overview of which ones are liked the most (and least).
[name]Linnea[/name] – This name has such an understated beauty and is very rare. Being named after a flower is also a plus in my book. Very lovely name.
[name]Jessamine[/name] – This is a recent favorite of mine as I like it’s flair and quiet beauty. I like that it consists of familiar sounds with a unique twist. Also, the flower connection is nice.
[name]Felicity[/name] – This name, like its meaning, sounds very light-hearted and warm. I really like it with the nn [name]Tilly[/name].
[name]Georgiana[/name] – I prefer [name]Georgia[/name], but [name]Georgiana[/name] does have an elegance that [name]Georgia[/name] lacks. The Pride and Prejudice character provides an endearing connection.
[name]Indira[/name] – This reminds me of the word “endearing” which is a good thing! Very foreign-sounding, but totally wearable!
[name]Juliette[/name] – I like this spelling of the name! The name itself has a nice, crisp beauty.
[name]Isannah[/name] – Very unique and pretty
[name]Sabine[/name] – Does not appeal to me
[name]Clementine[/name] – Makes me think of the fruit
[name]Anwen[/name] – Sounds like “and when”
[name]Gwendolyn[/name] – nms
Hmm, you might also like [name]Elowen[/name] and [name]Antonia[/name] (it’s nice as is, but with the prn. Ahn-toe-KNEE-ah – like in the [name]Willa[/name] Cather book – it is even prettier!)
[name]Hope[/name] that helps!
[name]Sabine[/name] (all those poor raped women)
[name]Indira[/name] (too much of a minefield if you’re not [name]Indian[/name])
[name]Clementine[/name] (clunky, a fruit, and a barbershop quartet song)
[name]Gwendolyn[/name] (so many gorgeous Welsh names, but this is too much a mouthful)
Two suggestions: [name]Elowen[/name] or [name]Sandrine[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name]- is on my list, so I’m biased.
[name]Clementine[/name]- I really adore [name]Clementine[/name], but I think I’ll always prefer [name]Clemency[/name] (which is on my list too. Again, I’m biased).
[name]Felicity[/name]- cute and pretty.
[name]Linnea[/name]- love the way it sounds. pretty name.
[name]Georgiana[/name]- gorgeous and elegant name, one of my favourites
[name]Felicity[/name]- another favourite, spunky but historical and timeless
[name]Juliette[/name]- lovely name, dramatic and romantic, but I prefer the [name]Juliet[/name] spelling (I tend to not be fond of “ette” names)
[name]Beatrice[/name]- nice classic name with historical and royal connections
[name]Sabine[/name]- I love this when pronounced the [name]German[/name] way, za-been-uh, but dislike the English pronunciation
[name]Gwendolyn[/name]- pretty, but not a standout to me
[name]Clementine[/name]- nice name but I can’t help thinking of the fruit
[name]Indira[/name]- I prefer [name]India[/name]
[name]Anwen[/name]- sounds too masculine for a girl [name]IMO[/name]
[name]Jessamine[/name]- I always want to pronounce this jess-uh-meen instead of jess-uh-min, but I do like [name]Jessamyn[/name]
[name]Linnea[/name]- never appealed to me, sorry
[name]Isannah[/name]- doesn’t really seem like a name to me, not sure how to explain it…
[name]Anwen[/name]
[name]Sabine[/name] (I honestly can’t choose between [name]Sabine[/name] and [name]Anwen[/name] for first place they’re both lovely)
[name]Indira[/name]
[name]Linnea[/name]
[name]Gwendolyn[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name]
[name]Georgiana[/name]
[name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Isannah[/name] & [name]Jessamine[/name] & [name]Felicity[/name] & [name]Clementine[/name] all tie for last place I really dislike all of these. Sorry
1 [name]Beatrice[/name] - this was a very hard choice, because I also [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] from your list. The only thing I want to say about [name]Beatrice[/name] is that I personally prefer [name]Beatrix[/name]. But [name]Beatrice[/name] is still a lovely name!
2 [name]Felicity[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name]!
3 [name]Juliette[/name] - I prefer [name]Juliet[/name], but I still like this variation!
4 [name]Isannah[/name]
5 [name]Jessamine[/name]
6 [name]Indira[/name]
7 [name]Sabine[/name]
8 [name]Georgiana[/name]
9 [name]Gwendolyn[/name]
10 [name]Linnea[/name]
11 [name]Clementine[/name]
12 [name]Anwen[/name]
[name]Indira[/name] - meh
[name]Anwen[/name] - interesting but would always be misspelled [name]Arwen[/name]
[name]Isannah[/name] - looks made up
[name]Georgiana[/name] - never been a fan
[name]Sabine[/name] - bad connotation, prefer [name]Sable[/name]
[name]Jessamine[/name] - I’d prefer [name]Jasmine[/name], but I’m not even a fan of that or of [name]Jessica[/name], just nms at all
[name]Beatrice[/name] - [name]Love[/name] the nn [name]Bea[/name], love the meaning, love the sound, love how uncommon it is.
[name]Juliette[/name] - Classic and love, can’t go wrong. Prefer [name]Juliet[/name] spelling.
[name]Gwendolyn[/name] - Prefer [name]Gwendolen[/name] because I believe “en” endings are traditionally female. The “yn” makes it too trendy. Absolutely love the name otherwise!
[name]Anwen[/name]- What can I say, I love Welsh names. Sounds beautiful and has a nice meaning.
[name]Georgiana[/name] - I prefer [name]Georgia[/name], but this variation is ok. Very elegant, easy to grow into as an adult.
[name]Indira[/name] - Has a nice sound and a nice meaning.
[name]Felicity[/name] - Not my favorite, but it is a nice name.
[name]Jessamine[/name] - I love the nn [name]Jess[/name], otherwise I don’t like this name at all.
[name]Clementine[/name] - I used to like this name a lot. Now, not as much.
[name]Linnea[/name] - Although it has a pleasing sound, it reminds me of [name]Linea[/name] Negra, which is the line some pregnant women get on their belly. Completely ruins it for me.
[name]Sabine[/name] - I don’t see the appeal of this name. I knew a girl named [name]Sandrine[/name] which I think is much prettier.
[name]Isannah[/name] - not sure how to pronounce it. eye-san-nah? is-an-nah? Is-san-nah?
I like the suggestions of [name]Elowen[/name], [name]Arwen[/name], [name]Antonia[/name], and [name]Eugenia[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Susannah[/name] or [name]Octavia[/name]?
