[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there. I love [name_u]Finn[/name_u]! You did a great job there.
Here is my favorite to least favorite:
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] Elizabeth-This is so classic & pleasant. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is hard to say w/out a smile. It has such nice purple imagery & is a little bit quiet yet cheerful. I much prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] to [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] in general (just so sick of Evelyn), & it flows better because it doesn’t repeat the ‘v’ sound. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & [name_u]Finn[/name_u] are perfect.
[name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] Eliza-Mirabel is so pretty & elegant yet sweet. I like how it’s simple but not over done. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nns too. [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is kind of unexpected & really spunky. A bit different style from [name_u]Finnegan[/name_u], but totally works anyway.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] Mariana-Ooh, what a nice combo. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is sweet & lovable & smart & classic. [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] is a bit more fancy & dramatic, but I’m really loving them together. I think that [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u] would be good too, depending on who you’re honoring. [name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_u]Finn[/name_u] sound nice too.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] Wilder-Rosalie & [name_u]Finnegan[/name_u] (maybe [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] & Finn?) are so adorable. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is happy & classy. Easy & not too popular, & I love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]. Reminds me of [name_m]Little[/name_m] House on the [name_u]Prairie[/name_u].
Clara-I think that [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] or [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] would be lovely. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is simple & smart & kind & timeless. It’s a little less sparkly to me than some of the others, but it’s really nice none the less.
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] Megan-I like [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. It’s pretty & fancy. A bit popular though. I love the idea of [name_u]Finn[/name_u] & [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] or [name_u]Finn[/name_u] & [name_f]Ani[/name_f]. I don’t like [name_f]Megan[/name_f] that much, but I guess it’s fine since it’s an honor name. I like [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] more.
[name_u]Romilly[/name_u] May-I really like [name_u]Romilly[/name_u], but I’m torn on how to say it. I think it’s mostly said Rom-illy as opposed to Roam-illy. Right? It’s too tricky! I like it because it’s unique though, & the nn [name_f]Milly[/name_f] is sweet. [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] flows better than [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] [name_f]May[/name_f] in my opinion.
Elena-I’m not in love w/the flow of [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] or [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Megan[/name_f]. I think just [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_u]Marie[/name_u] would be better. [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is kind of cool. It has a bit of exotic flair to it which I like. It doesn’t quite fit w/Finnegan, but it doesn’t clash. It does have the nn of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], which is cute although very done.
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] Elizabeth-I like the alliteration of this combo a lot. It makes [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] feel more classic too. I think that it has a pleasant sound, but I just don’t really care for [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] myself. Not sure if you do or if it’s unavoidable.
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f] Elizabeth-I want to like this name because it’s botanical & spunky & vintage. I just hear I.V. though, which makes it not my favorite.
Ottilie-It is kind of a tricky one to say & spell, but it’s interesting & feels happy. [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] sounds good to me.
[name_f]Serafina[/name_f] Jessamine-Not sure why I don’t like this name. It’s kind of cool & kind of fancy, but I can’t get into it. And I don’t like [name_f]Sera[/name_f] much, because it sounds like [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], but just a little off, which is tricky to say.
[name_u]Rain[/name_u] Elizabeth-I like [name_u]Rain[/name_u] in theory, but the sound of it is kind of bland to me.
[name_u]Auden[/name_u] Elizabeth-I don’t know. It’s not awful, but it feels too masculine for a girl & too feminine for a boy.
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f] Kristine-I would just go w/Anastasia [name_f]Kristin[/name_f]. It honors your mom more directly, & it doesn’t flow any less. I like [name_f]Annie[/name_f] a lot, & [name_f]Annie[/name_f] & [name_u]Finn[/name_u] would be really cute. But I just can’t get into [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]. It just feels really dark & heavy. Maybe it’s the association w/the Russian princess. Kind of a dark heavy story.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] Elizabeth-I would love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] as a brother to [name_u]Finnegan[/name_u], but it’s way too masculine sounding for a girl in my opinion. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I’m sure it’s just as popular for girls.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] Kelly-Well, I wouldn’t use that combo since there’s already someone famous named [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Kelly[/name_u]. [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] might be nice. But I don’t care much for [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. It feels snooty to me.
Avery-This is just super duper trendy & over done in my area. And I find it better for a boy.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
