Hi there.
I think I can put them in order of favorite to least favorite!
Lillian-It’s such a polished, smart, sweet lovely classic.
Eve-I just love how this name is so simple, bright, feminine but not at all frilly & a little pixie-ish.
Celia-I adore this name. It’s smart & lovable…has a similar vibe to [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], but even a bit more youthful, I think. And it’s simple but very uncommon, which is always nice.
Nora-Another smart, simple, feminine but not fussy beautiful classic. It’s a little bit common if that bothers you, but for a good reason.
June-You definitely have a style so far. Or I have a style of my favorites from your list. But [name_u]June[/name_u] has a similar vibe as the others before it. Polished, smart, feminine yet simple & polished. Old fashioned but fresh & not over done. Plus, the nn [name_f]Junie[/name_f] is adorable.
Ruthie-If this had been just [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], I’d rank it much higher. I love [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] nn [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f]. But just [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] seems a little too childish as a full name for me.
Fern-This is so charming & slightly unexpected. Especially in real life, of course. It reminds me of the little girl in [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]’s [name_m]Web[/name_m], which is just a beautiful association. Much more interesting than the name [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
Esther-I’m a big fan of Hebrew-ish names, so I do really like this. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like the others, it sounds smart & bold. Not frilly but clearly feminine. Well known classic that’s not too popular. And it has the nn of [name_f]Tess[/name_f]!
May-This has a light airy feel. Feminine but simple & not fussy. A lovely choice. And I like this spelling. It seems more complete than [name_f]Mae[/name_f].
Edith-This is kind of cute & quirky. I like it, but not [name_f]Edie[/name_f] for some reason.
Ida-This is not my cup of tea…but I can’t figure out why. I should like it. It’s spunky & bookish & classic & simple.
Chaya-Is this ‘[name_m]Hi[/name_m]-uh?’ It’s interesting. I love [name_f]Chana[/name_f], but this doesn’t sound quite as pretty to me.
Rowena-It has a nice sound & I love the nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] not my favorite for some reason.
Maxime-Kind of fun & spunky. It’s different & simple. But I just don’t something about it. It kind of sounds like a snobby girl at school.
Opal-I want to like this one, but I keep hearing ‘opie’ which sounds like ‘dopey’.
Nell-I’m in love w/the name [name_f]Nellie[/name_f], but dislike [name_f]Nell[/name_f]. It just doesn’t sparkle as much. It sounds bland to me, but I’m clearly in the minority here. Also, it reminds me of that weird movie from the 90s with [name_u]Jodie[/name_u] [name_m]Foster[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband had the same association when I told him how much I love [name_f]Nellie[/name_f]. We may be the only ones, so I wouldn’t worry it!
Florence-Also in the minority here. People seem to love this one, but I find it a little stuffy. I prefer the softer [name_f]Flora[/name_f].
Marnie-It’s different, but I just don’t think that ‘Marn’ sound is that attractive. I like the idea of it.
Rosemary-This is the only ‘[name_f]Rose[/name_f]’ name that I don’t care for. I think it’s because of that creepy movie that I’ve never seen. Not a reference I’d worry about it you love it.
Neta-This is fine, just seems like it’s missing something.
Judith-I don’t love it, but it’s different & fine. Not offensive. [name_m]Just[/name_m] a little dated, maybe.
Evelyn-I guess I shouldn’t put this so far down on the list, because I don’t dislike it that much. It has a nice enough sound, I’m just sooooo tired of it. Like way more than [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] or any other popular name.
Hollis-I love the [name_u]Holly[/name_u] nn potential, but this just doesn’t sound that pretty to me.
Nechama-I really don’t know ho to pronounce this, but it doesn’t look that nice. Maybe I’m missing something.
Annabeth-This is the last name on my rankings, & it’s not even horrible at all. I just always found [name_f]Beth[/name_f] kind of blah, & I’m not into smoosh names. I like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] though. I’d do [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Bethany[/name_f] & call her [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] for short.
Hope this helps.
