Rank my top 3!

We’re getting there! I really appreciate it when people explain their reasoning. It might help to keep in mind that these are for a boy who is almost 18, as opposed to a newborn. I’m trying to find the perfect name to match my middle name.

[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]
[name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]

Thank you! <3

It seems like [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is the clear winner… Anyone else?

  1. leo nicholas
  2. samuel nicholas
  3. jude nicholas

the -o ending in leo flows the best to me and contrasts nicely with the traditional middle name !

1-Jude [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]- charming, cool and distinct while also feeling familiar and usable. It flows well with [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] too

2 - [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] - classic and elegant. Can’t go wrong with it

3 - [name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] -sparky and fun but the flow isn’t quite as good as the others for me

  2. [name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. Nice flow to it, but I don’t like the sound of it as much as [name_u]Jude[/name_u].
  3. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. Sounds too old and too long.

Instinctively I am drawn to [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is a name I have loved for the longest time. I love that it has some versatility and is rich in history. It has some positive associations with pop culture . I also like the flexibility to go by [name_u]Sam[/name_u]. I think [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] sounds romantic

[name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is my second favourite option. [name_u]Leo[/name_u] is a little popular in my circles and I know several. It feels popular but for good reason . I love that it means [name_m]Lion[/name_m]

[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is a handsome name but it sounds abrupt to feel. I don’t love the flow with the middle name [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m]. I do love [name_u]Jude[/name_u] though and the song hey [name_u]Jude[/name_u] plays in my head every time I hear the song.

[name_m]Samuel[/name_m] or [name_u]Leo[/name_u] would be my pick. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] seems to be a trendy name for newborns now. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is the most timeless and [name_u]Leo[/name_u] Seems ratherclassic.

  1. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] – [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is my favorite boys’ name so of course this is my favorite! It’s cool and laid back but also can sound formal and classic.

  2. [name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] – [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Leo[/name_u]. The lion meaning is great and it pairs well with [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].

  3. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] – Nice combo, I personally just prefer the other two names!

  1. [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] — I think [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] is so warm and friendly sounding! It’s a classic that can easily suit any type of personality and just has a lovely feeling to it. It sounds good with [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] and I like [name_u]Sam[/name_u] too :))

  2. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] — [name_u]Jude[/name_u] feels a bit more indie/outdoorsy. I’m not drawn to it the same way I am to [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], but that’s just personal taste. It has the incredible connection to Hey [name_u]Jude[/name_u] by the Beatles, which may be exactly why it gets second place, but I love the song so it endears me to the name somewhat!

  3. [name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] — I agree with previous posters that this has great flow! If you feel the most connected to this one then I say go for it; I just personally have a few bad associations with [name_m]Leos[/name_m] I’ve known

I think [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is the most “likely” seeming name for that age range, but to me it lacks some of the spark of the others.

[name_u]Leo[/name_u] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] are both such cool, handsome, energetic names and I love them paired with classic [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m].

[name_u]Leo[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] would be my slight preference — I love the flow and the bright, cool O ending and leonine imagery of [name_u]Leo[/name_u] — but [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is lovely too.
