Rank my top 4

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Berries, would you rank my top 4 boy name combos? (I must say that this list excludes my very favorite combo, just because I know most people don’t like it but I don’t plan on moving it down.) Some first names have a few middle name possibilities but I have not decided on which one, choose which one you’d use in your ranking!

In no particular order:

[name_u]Sascha[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m]
[name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] / [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Elie[/name_u]
[name_m]Avidan[/name_m] [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] (ah-vee-dahn, all soft ‘a’ sounds)

I’d also appreciate any new name recommendation based on these

[name_u]Sascha[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m] is very interesting! [name_u]Strong[/name_u] and mysterious. [name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] and [name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] are nice combos. Both names are cool and unexpected. I prefer [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] over [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] but I can’t decide which name has a better flow. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is a powerful and elegant choice, but I don’t care about [name_u]Elie[/name_u], sorry. I would only consider it as a nickname for a girl, if you live in an [name_f]English[/name_f]-speaking country. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] would be great, though. I don’t think I ever heard [name_m]Avidan[/name_m] before. Right now, it’s my least favorite option, but I will probably have a nicer perspective when I get used to it.

[name_m]Favorite[/name_m] to least favorite:

  1. [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m]
  2. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]/ [name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
  3. [name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m]
  4. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Elie[/name_u]
  5. [name_m]Avidan[/name_m] [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]

I’m honestly a little curious about your heritage and/or favorite languages and/or cultures, because all your names have a different vibe. [name_m]German[/name_m], Irish, Hebrew, [name_f]English[/name_f],…

[name_m]Just[/name_m] wanted to say [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m] is GORGEOUS! By far my favorite!

Thank you!

I’m Jewish so I love using Hebrew names, which account for the majority of the names. [name_m]Lev[/name_m], [name_u]Ezra[/name_u], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], and [name_m]Avidan[/name_m] are all Hebrew. [name_m]Avidan[/name_m] means “[name_f]My[/name_f] father (God) is just” or “[name_f]My[/name_f] father (God) judges” which I just love.

[name_m]Adler[/name_m] is a [name_m]German[/name_m] name but also a common [name_m]German[/name_m] Jewish last name, and I’m part [name_m]German[/name_m] from my mother’s side, but I guess I just like the name.

[name_u]Sascha[/name_u] isn’t Hebrew but accoridng to Kveller and some other Jewish sources “In the third century B.C.E., [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] the Great spared Jerusalem from harm. In [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]’s honor, the high priest ordered that all Jewish males born in the city for a year were to be named after the leader.” And I guess [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] is a nickname for [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. I just think it’s such a sweet, soft name!

I believe I have a little Irish in me too and I just celtic names, hence [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m].

[name_u]Elie[/name_u] is technically [name_u]French[/name_u] from the Hebrew [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]/[name_m]Eliyahu[/name_m] (think [name_u]Elie[/name_u] Wiesel).

you have such a stunning list!
from favorite to least favorite:
[name_u]Sascha[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m] - oh my gosh, this is gorgeous! so handsome, soft, and strong. I love it!
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Elie[/name_u] - I like powerful [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] paired with sweet [name_u]Elie[/name_u]. [name_u]Elie[/name_u] Wiesel is one of my favorite writers, so I have a soft spot for the name.
[name_m]Avidan[/name_m] [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] - I’ve never heard of [name_m]Avidan[/name_m] before, but I really like it! I think it fits in nicely amongst the more common names. [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] has always been a favorite of mine.
[name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] / [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - this is my least favorite only because I don’t like [name_m]Adler[/name_m] as a first name. I’ve known a few people with it for a last name so that’s probably why. I do, however, love [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. I’d personally prefer [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] [name_m]Adler[/name_m] or [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Adler[/name_m]!

I’m so very curious about what your favorite combo is now, because the rest of your names are amazing!

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite first name is [name_m]Ben[/name_m]-[name_u]Ami[/name_u] I’m not sure if I like [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] or [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] better for him, I also might consider a different middle altogether. Thank you for your review!!

Thank you for sharing it with me!
I’ve never heard of [name_m]Ben[/name_m]-[name_u]Ami[/name_u] either, but I like the way it sounds! I looked it up, and one of the first things I read said, “The name [name_m]Ben[/name_m]-[name_u]Ami[/name_u], is one of warmth and sparkle. A special name that is sure to be loved.” and I really like that! I can see why it might not be everyone’s favorite, but I think you should definitely keep loving it as much as you do. I’d love to meet a little [name_m]Ben[/name_m]-[name_u]Ami[/name_u], it’s growing on me more and more each time I say it. I think it’s familiar enough, handsome, and very cute!
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_u]Ezra[/name_u] are both great names on their own, and with [name_m]Ben[/name_m]-[name_u]Ami[/name_u] but personally I think I prefer [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]. I said both out loud, and I think I like the way [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] sounds with it slightly more than [name_u]Ezra[/name_u].

Oh, I really like [name_m]Ben[/name_m]-[name_u]Ami[/name_u]! It’s a great name, absolutely sweet. Such a warm, gentle sound, too. And I love how meaningful it is to you. I, too, would love to meet a little boy with the name, and I hope you get to use it someday.

I agree!

Thank you  I think it’s even more usable with the nn [name_m]Ben[/name_m] plus it means “son of my people”

Thank you very much for your explanation!
I love the meaning behind your choices. I think I would change my raking to:

  1. [name_u]Sascha[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m]
  2. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Elie[/name_u]
  3. [name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
  4. [name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m]

[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Elie[/name_u]–absolutely stunning names and combination, really gorgeous.
[name_m]Avidan[/name_m] [name_u]Ezra[/name_u]–[name_m]Avidan[/name_m] is really pretty, melodic, and unusual without being over the top.
[name_u]Sascha[/name_u] [name_m]Lev[/name_m]–I like both names but I like the spelling [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] better and I don’t think it flows as well as the first two
[name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m] / [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]–I don’t think [name_m]Adler[/name_m] has as attractive a sound as your other FN choices, although it’s not bad by any means. I prefer it with [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], which I really love.

I like [name_m]Ben[/name_m]-[name_u]Ami[/name_u] as well.

I love [name_m]Adler[/name_m]! That would be my first.

[name_m]Adler[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_u]Elie[/name_u]
