Violet ~ I love the imagery of rich, deep purple, and the pretty flower connection. I like the nicknames [name_f]Vi[/name_f] and [name_f]Etta[/name_f]. I used to be bothered by the similarity to the word ‘violent’ but now I am so besotted with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] that I could care less.
Lily ~ I just really love Victorian flower names. [name_f]Lily[/name_f] is so simple and lovely. The cascading sound as it rolls off your tongue. White lillies are my favourite flower as well.
I love that [name_f]Lily[/name_f] began as a nickname for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], another name I love.
Alice ~ I like this name. I think the timelessness is appealing. I enjoy the meaning ‘hardworking’
Charlotte ~ I like the sound of this name. [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] is such a fun nickname. I like the soft shh sound and the [name_u]French[/name_u] feel.
Abigail ~ I adore the nickname [name_f]Gail[/name_f] and it reminds me of a big gale of wind. I love names with Hebrew roots. The meaning is really special to me ‘Father’s [name_f]Joy[/name_f]’ and the beginning contains the word ‘[name_m]Abba[/name_m].’ I want my daughter to know that even if her biological father is abusive or neglectful (I hope I will NEVER choose a guy like this to have a child with, but I’m very worried cause I have this type of father) that she has God, who is sometimes described as a ‘Father’ who loves her. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like I want to include [name_f]Mary[/name_f] in my kid’s names so that they know that even if I mess up (obv not too badly) that they have a perfect mother in a spiritual sense. Yeah this name brought up my father issues loooooolllll
Eleanor… I would really like to have a little [name_f]Nora[/name_f]! But to be honest I don’t love this name.
Natalie is so Christmassy and wonderful but the [name_u]Nat[/name_u] sound at the start is a little annoying to my ears. I like that it is [name_u]French[/name_u], though!
Chloe is saved by it’s Ancient Greek roots to me… ‘[name_u]Green[/name_u] shoot’ is a cute meaning and I like the link to the Ancient Greek goddess [name_f]Chloris[/name_f]. I like the ‘cl’ sound!
Amelia is okay to me but a little too popular. I much prefer [name_f]Emily[/name_f].
Isabella! Well, I just don’t like names which end in [name_f]Bella[/name_f]! It is just a sound I’m not fond of.
